I’m almost positive the gold foil “winner” parallels of the MOTW card will have a much lower print run than the regular version. This is the first week so I guess we’ll see after the first print run comes out.

And when there is a MOTW without a Judge or Ohtani then that will be a nice SP.

If one of you guys can post this, I would appreciate it

- You get 1 vote per card and you will get charged for 1 Card if it is the winning card. You can’t order multiple cards during the voting stage. 1 Card per person.

- Credit Card isn’t charged until the winning card is determined.

- Pending charges will be cancelled for Cards that didn’t win. These cards will
Never be offered for sale

- After voting ends, you can order in the standard quantities. You just won’t have the Winner logo on these cards

Hope this clears things up a little bit. —Jeeves

So, if everybody voted for all 5 cards and it was a tie, then all 5 cards get made, right?

Thank You!

I love that it's 1 card per vote account.

So Wednesday... you can Order 20.. and they will ship you 21 because you get the Bonus card with it.

You can vote for all 5 cards one time each, which everyone should do so all five get made. This vote isn't like Red state vs Blue state, everyone who collects these cards would want more for the set than less, right? (not talking SP-wise)

Looks like it, but the way people read stuff, they won't understand it, especially if they aren't on boards like BO,
You get charged 7.99 per card but only make the winning voted card, I bet some people would not realize or read it that they only make 1 card. and think they would lose the other money if they don't make the card..

anyway,
It Should only be 1 vote per week per account...

On a different note, Can you buy the vote with your reward points? since it is Topps Now...

I wonder if there will be a “Moment Of The Week” or “MOTW” designation somewhere on the front of the card that’s printed? I didn’t see one on the mock-ups.

No. It's basically a pre-order of a special card. If you guess the Winner, they charge $7.99 to your CC. If you guess wrong, they cancel the Pending charge for the card you voted for. You lose out on the Winner card, but you can buy the regular version (no Winner stamp) of the winning card on Wednesday.

However, if you want to hedge your bets, vote for all the cards and you're guaranteed the winner card. You'll be charged for the winner card and they'll cancel the Pending charges for the other four. If you want to get more of the winning card, they'll be released on Wednesday. However, these cards will look like a regular Topps Now card and won't have the "Winner" stamp on it. You can get only one "Winner" card per account assuming you voted for the winning card.

I know that.. I was saying what people may think that because they don't read how it works..

I'm tired and I'm not reading 3 pages.

The Winner Ohtani will become the new Ohtani SP

The non-winner Ohtani will print over 10,000.

Jake, before I realized each account could only vote for the same card once, I thought of you having to vote for the Ohtani card 700 times to fulfill orders. Lol!

So on the MOTW PDF it says "All fans who voted on that moment during the Voting Stage will be charged automatically for each vote/purchase made for that moment and will receive the quantity of the Moment of the Week "Winner" cards the purchased.

So essentially all the top sellers are going to vote hundreds of times for the Ohtani "Winner" card making the card basically worthless.

One vote per customer sounded so much more intriguing with the possibility of around 500 existing. Now it's just another Ohtani money printing machine for Topps and having thousands of cards with a "Winner" stamp on it has no appeal whatsoever.

I'll simply wait for the card to come out and buy those in bulk.

And that's my 2 cents.....

Now 2 paragraphs lower it says "There is a limit on the number of votes you can make during the voting stage. You may vote 1 time for the 1 card and/or for multiple cards by ordering and committing to purchase that number of cards"

So which is it? You need a lawyer to figure this thing out.

Per Joe's message from Topps, you can only vote one time per account. I voted for Ohtani and the button is green and I cannot vote for it again. So it looks like 1 gold per account (if you voted for the winning card).

We get to vote on our favorite credit card of the week. The one with the most votes is the winner!

Serious answer: I have no idea. I had to add a CC to vote.

I know people are supposed to read the terms before voting, and I personally have every intent to buy the card as much as you all probably are, but I can imagine some people getting upset after knowing that they have been automatically charged for $7.99 while they only wanted to "vote" and not buy the "winner" card itself.

What about people who paid (or voted) with PAYPAL balance?

Are they going to get refund if the winner is not chosen?

They didn't take PayPal for the voting
