Selling 5 Bowman packs for $5 sounds nice until you take out fees and shipping and are left with maybe $1 profit.

$5+ shipping forgive me for not including that detail. And almost anyone busting these is busting more than 1 so you can lump all of your bowman packs together and ship once. I understand that you don't think these are worth much from your previous posts but you know you will make more than $1 profit on 5 bowman packs. Let's be real.

Point is you are saying its a sure thing to get a buck a pack after shipping, and even easier when multiple are sold together.

I'm showing you that is far from the truth, there is no way you are going to get a buck a pack for these after fees and shipping all the time.

I was not a fan of the mega box this year when first announced I did not think it was going to be worth it at all without that one crazy card like the Ohtani last year. But Topps really did a good job with this stuff. It is packed with color, autos and a few of these players have potential. I'm a fan!

To this statement. I do not "flip" cards. I sell occasionally. I do know the amount of effort it would take and time to sell some of the stuff I got in some of these boxes, and it would not net enough. How much effort when I bought a box for $13 do I want to spend making $10 back? I would rather hold the cards. I should correct my statement. Could I make $10. Probably. In the long run will I ever make $10 on some of the boxes. Probably not.

As for the product itself. It is a "GREAT" product and my favorite to bust the past two years. I have never disputed that. I love the look of the cards and agree that Topps offered a product that is well worth the MSRP of 14.99. I would have bought them at $20 all day long. My overall feeling is, I would not spend 30+ on a box of these. MRSP is WELL WORTH IT. Double MSRP is pushing the limits IMO

EDIT... I was not thinking about The 5 Bowman packs would net you more money. So, yes, $10 would be easier

In large lots, those naked bowman packs go for 60 cents =$3 back per mega box.

In the two chrome packs, maybe one of the 7 base mojos goes for $1.50, I put the other seven at about 50 cents each = $5.

Then your two remaining inserts - Dominic smith Roy and a purple scrub/250 = $2.

There, that’s your $10 of value.

Add in the time to find a sucker to take this off your hands, shipping, and deal with people complaining about that base mojo Forrest Whitley not bring gem mint = not worth more than $40 to open two mojo packs.

I had 26 boxes, opened them all at less than $15 a box, sold everything and still garnered a loss.

At $40 a box, I would have peed on my hand.

Last year- no brainer break.

This year - I should have sold my boxes sealed.

You don't have to auction them. It's easy, the more packs you sell at once the less chance there is that you get $1 per pack. Someone will drop $28 on 20 packs much easier than $240 on 200 packs. 90% of the lots that aren't selling at $1 a pack or more are higher volume lots. I didn't say you have to sell 100 at a time did I?

I also think some people are sleeping on Keibert Ruiz. His first bowman card is in this, he has an auto (that uses a better photo then his reg Bowman auto), plays for the Dodgers, 19 in AA and rarely K's.

I'm seeing plenty of current value with lots of potential for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Yes I agree on Ruiz I just didn't mention him because he's so cheap and I keep buying lol

Ok so you didnt say 100, but you implied larger lots. So what is it? You can make a buck a pack only when listing more than 5 but less than 20?

Point is, there is no guarentee to say you can always sell these packs for $1 a piece profit.

I'd rather sell mine all at once so I'll just wait until someone hits the BIN later this year

I know I'm not part of this discussion, but I'll say I think there will come a time ... later this year ... when it will be a 'guarantee' to sell these packs for $1 each net.

The whole point of my comments is that people are acting as if these boxes are going to "take off" at any moment.

If we are debating over getting 75 cents or $1.25 a pack for the base packs, plus there are no key cards pushing the Mega packs, why would these go any higher than they are now?

I will repeat myself again, for MSRP, these are a fantastic buy and I would clean out every shelf if I could.

Once you get to $30+ I see absolutely no reason at the moment for these to get any higher, much less "take off" in the future.

Those folks have been properly warned by the "naysayers" here lol. By the way, the "big" sellers have these boxes listed at 50.95obo and 54.95bin on the bay...trying to pump these up?
