Default Taking Sigs Off a Bat?

I have a multi player signed bat that all signatures are in sharpie. I want to erase all of the names except one. Saw somewhere on the board in the past on ways to remove sigs from a bat. Thanks in advance

I’ve used lighter fluid to take a fake signature off a Nolan Ryan gamer. The bat had a finish.

I know hair spray is pretty good at taking sharpie off of things.

Lemon essential oil might work.

If it's a big stick with signatures you can use an alcohol wipe to clean them off, i've done it before.

Hair Spray will get most of it off than go over it with a white eraser

EDIT: Are they black or blonde? Wouldn't use a magic eraser on black and some other things on blonde.

I wonder if the cleaner that people use on dry erase boards would work?

Spray sunscreen....
When my daughter was 2 she got a hold of a sharpie and marked all over the blonde wood head board and foot board of my bed. I did some research and found that of all things certain spray sunscreens are supposed to take permanent marker off wood, so I tried some and was amazed how easily it worked.
