I'd like to get this to a 2 team race. Get 6-7 games up on the Cardinals/Pirates and let's battle with the Brewers over the next 3.5 months

You guys know Joe Namath guaranteed a win tonight. Since 1969 he's 2 for 2!

Now Contreras with a single to left.. 2-0 Cubbies!! Awesome job KB!!!!

KB is a great base runner. His base running was a huge factor in game 7. Go cubs!

I was at the game with my wife and daughter. After Morrow gave up the HR, they were itching to leave; I convinced them to wait it out. Glad I did! I figured that once Nola was out (he pitched a very good game), the Cubs would have a decent shot. I just didn't expect Hayward to be the one to do the damage (on a 2-2 pitch, no less).

Chatwood only 7 walks today in 4.2 innings, his control is improving

It’s only a matter of time before Montgomery takes his spot. He’s posting around a 1.80 WHIP no idea how he has a sub 4 ERA

Probably once Darvish is back. He has proved he belongs in the rotation.

Love that 1983 set. (Recently bought all the singles on eBay.) Nice to have a “Season Ticket Holder” version of it.

HUGE statement W tonight vs Milw.
Tied up game in 8th vs Hader
Rizzo moon shot in top 11
Great relief pitching and didn’t have to use Morrow as they busted it open in extras 7-2

Heyward continues his nice bounce back season with 3 more hits including the clutch single vs Hader

KB made an error in the bottom of the 2nd. Lester got out of it.

After KB drilled that HR he went str8 to Lester in the dugout.

Russell is turning into what Heyward was minus this season. Minus defense.

AVG & OBP is good

Not hitting for power

Lazy defensive plays

The guy you turn your head to when they're up in the order
