pare_8675 - New member, zero feedback. Bought a 2XL shirt. Small pocket graphic on front, large on back. Files an INAD because she wanted a medium, with the graphic put on the front. Last time I checked, i did not have magic powers to change shirt sizes or graphic locations, yet they file an INAD...

I received the item but it s way too big. I want to have the medium size and picture should be in front of the the T-shirt. please. Thank you!

curated_closet - Buys a Medium shirt, then wants to return because "the sleeves are too long". Mind blown. Shirt is a normal medium. I dont get it.

jacopetti1985 - Buys a baseball jersey Size 44. Sz 44 is a Large. Files a return because it is too small. It measures 23" pit to pit, which is a Large based on various size charts.

I'll play devil's advocate here. We all know that sizes are not always consistent across makers. I've often gone in to a dept store and purchased a XL shirt, but when I tried it on at home it felt more like a L, and had to return it. You never really know until you try it on, so for that reason I think returns due to poor fit are reasonable. It looks like you accept returns too, so not sure why you would automatically block buyers for that reason. No question that a NPB or not understanding where a graphic is based on the pics is unacceptable. But it seems like returns due to sizing are just part of the cost of doing business when selling clothing.

Would normally agree but when taking the time to measure and list measurements you would think buyers could do the same. It's one thing return a shirt because it's a medium and fits different but when you can see measurements it's annoying to be used as a fitting room.

Honestly, I block buyers who 1) don't pay 2) cancel a transaction and 3) Open any kind of return, doesn't matter the reason.

There are millions of buyers on eBay and I would just rather not deal with any of the above.

There should be about a 10-13 digit/letter code around where the shoe size is. Google that and you should be able to find the exact shoe model online.

Sooo has there been any mention on blowout yet on the big ebay glitch last week. my cousin who also sells on a bigger scale then me pointed it out. So from like last thursday to sundayish ebay glitched and Deleted TONS of pictures. after looking at my account looks like 146 of my 950 were messed up. The first picture still shows BUT every other picture in my auctions is now gone... Stinks ebay didnt make a announcement on this I had to find it out on the message boards.

Heads up may want to go and check yours

You have to manually go into each auction. Your first picture would be there and the rest deleted :-(

It's been awhile since I found an autographed book at Goodwill...

Is it worth sending to Shula to sign?

Thanks for looking!

I love reading this thread and decided to stop at goodwill. Picked up these hats for .25 each. I also stopped at a church charity garage sale and picked up two of those awesome magnifing lights for $10 each...

The back of the Larry Bird book has water damage, but I can live with that!

Thanks for looking!

Sweet Larry Bird book. I actually mailed my copy to him (to see if he'd sign it) and never saw it again

Found this ad on craigslist saying a guy was trying to sell some of his clothing because he lost 40 pounds and nothing fits.

Contacted him and met him in his freaking pent house on the 28th floor and spent $140. Everything was like new condition.

Got the following:
6x Robert Graham 3XL Shirts
3x Bugtachi Uomo 2XL Shirts
1x Brooks Brothers Dress Shirt
1x Brooks Brothers Pants
4x Ties (Ferragamo & Hermes)
1x Prada Black Loafers
1x Brooks Brothers 50R Suit

Should make everything back on just the Hermes tie. Has nice animal print on it.

Nice, last Friday I went to one of my local estate sales, their final day is usually Friday. The guy was a doctor but was a small man (Small to Medium clothes.) I picked out a few Tommy Bahama shirts I spotted right off and Phyllis(owner of sale company) told me they had to be out by 2PM that day she offered me the remaining stuff in the closet for 20.00, including the items I had already picked out. Ended up with 136 shirts 10 are Brooks Brothers, 14 Tommy Bahama shirts and many many more. There were also about 200 ties that I have not even started to look through yet.

Also ended up with about 15 old yearbooks from TCU and Baylor dating to the 1940s as well as about 60 old Louis Lamour paperback western books. I spent 30.00 total at this sale.

This is why I am usually one of the first in the door on the first day and always go back on the last to see what is left.

wish I could get something like this to work for me but I have not had any luck finding the hidden gems. estate sales here are always crowded and thrift shops never have the same quality. I wish I was somewhere other than Miami.

Do you give any kind of discounts to Blowout members? You have a couple of hot wheels I've been looking for. Thanks

Hey guys, trying to get some input on a transaction here.

Sold a Bose Wave III machine, 4 days later when it got to the Global Shipping Center to ship to Canada, I get a message asking if it was a CD playing edition in which pictures show that is is obviously not. Also, it was way cheaper than any CD edition. The guy wants to return it but I don't offer returns, it is giving me the option to reject the return. Should I do it?

I was thinking if I don't to reject it, offer the guy the ability to return it with a 20% re-stocking fee and him paying return shipping.

Went thrifting for the first time in a long time. I didn't have a huge haul, but I grabbed these:

2 Donald Trump Signature Ties
https://www.ebay.com/itm/232842402249
https://www.ebay.com/itm/232842399897

FootJoy Golf Polo XL
https://www.ebay.com/itm/232842397222

Vintage FILA Athletic Shorts (never seen any like these)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/232842394601

Should be a decent profit.

My question is, however, what are some other tie namebrands to keep an eye out for? These are only my second and third ties ever purchased, so I am pretty unfamiliar in this category, but I know there is some nice money to be made from them, so I want to explore more into it.
