I recently moved from hockey cards back to baseball. It showed me which of my cards were really just funds for other cards but also revealed what was truly special to me:

There's just so much going on here visually. I have yet to see another copy of this so it's as tough as can be (for a card no one wants lol). I have hockey cards that are 50 times more "valuable," of players far more famous, but this is my favorite hockey card.

Not a big hockey guy but after I saw him play a few years back I had to get something of his...

My wife works for the Avalanche so I occasionally buy her cards. These are my two favorites...

Love that Datsyuk. The Premier is my favorite, though. Maybe you can clear something up. I've noticed that the retail Datysuk YG is selling for more right now. Any reasoning to that or just another weird part of our hobby?

Yeah the premier used to be my favorite too but I noticed it was more readily available with a print run of 5 times more and with the YG being the most collected RC, for me this one feels more special. I know Hockey cards are more rooted in tradition than rarity though so I do understand the allure of the premier, its a very nice card.

Thats weird I havent really been paying attention to the recent datsyuk retail vs hobby so I can't really say. The hobby had always been more so thats interesting.

Nice Matthes! I opened a bunch of Showcase that year looking for Laine. Never pulled much of anything but I certainly love the way these look!

I think these cards are exceptionally nice.

I picked up a Dylan Larkin Red in a PSA case. I think it was a 9.

Just the red PMG, red case, red wings jersey looks really nice.

Black, in general, is one of the most undervalued products in the hobby. I think they look awesome.
