Default Greatest NFL Head Coach All Time

Vote before Belichick wins another SB.

I may leave someone off. That's what the other option is for. I'm limited to 9 actual people. Don't get butthurt.

Brian=Bill btw. Sorry folks. I have no idea what I'm doing.

How about just coach in general? He's been in the league for a very long time as an assistant coach before he was head coach.

I specified Head Coach a reason to narrow it down. I'm only limited to 9 options not including the other. If I were to include assistants and special teams coaches it could get out of hand.

It was tough enough leaving Parcells and Madden off of this list.

I didn't get a chance to watch the old time greats on the list they were before my time. But in my lifetime Belichick is definitely the best. If he's not #1 he's definitely right up there.

It's tough though different eras, different rules. Free agency and salary cap etc.

I think Raymond was conflicted between Brian Billick and Bill Belichick.

Typical Ravens homer.

I voted other: Bill Belichick

Seems like a no brainer at this point in history and he’s not done yet.

Please.

No chance Belichick could have coached against those coaches in the 50s and 60s....they would have coached circles around him and bent his brain in half...

Paul Brown won at each level, OSU to Cleveland 7 titles and a College title = 8. Not including 5 High School Championships in the State of Ohio. No, I'm a Wolverine fan but Paul Brown was the greatest coach ever as a Buckeye!
Many factors to base anybody's opinion but Brown not only succeeded but created future coaches who followed his preparation, game planning, etc and are listed on this poll -
Bill Walsh, Don Shula, Chuck Noll, Chuck Knox, Weeb Ewbank, Brian Billichek Lol or as many reference him as Bill that Patriots coach, Bill Parcells, Bill Cowher, Tom Coughlin, Andy Reid, etc. It's impressive. Wiki will show the coaching tree. Amazing.

Who's the only coach in NFL history to win the Super Bowl with a perfect season? There's your answer.

If you reply with...."last one on eBay sold for this"...then you should have bought it on eBay.

Agree, makes you wonder why Marino could not get it done with the best coach, since we all agree that Brady has it pretty easy with his coach.

I'm a Giants fan. I hate the Patriots.

The only vote that matters is for Belichick. What he's done for this extended period of time is just insane

How the f$&@ does a guy who whose team HE built COMPLETELY through the draft and wins FOUR Super Bowl titles in SIX years, not have a single vote until I voted for him.

His 1974 draft alone had FOUR Hall of Famers (Lambert, Webster, Swann, Stallworth). Will probably never be done again.

Oh, I get it. He didn't revolutionize an offense (West Coast) or have a Brady, Starr or Montana. He didn't do it first (Lombardi)? He had TOO many great players (whom he drafred)? He didn't have an undefeated season or win enough games because he stayed a coach for too long (Shula). He was an ornery cuss (he was doing Belichick type press conferences when Bill was still in grade school).

Belichick is the greatest (but not going to leave Noll without a vote). Maybe Paul Brown, maybe Walsh. Absolutely, definitely no one else was a better coach.

What a bunch of sh*t. Idiots

So you voted for him because you felt sorry for him? That’s pretty sad

Would be great Baseball HOF voter. Keep the greats like Griffey from being unanimous just because.

I voted for Belichick, he takes half a team with new puzzles pieces every year and consistently dominates

They don't call it the Belichick Trophy.

Billy Boy couldn't do squat with the Browns.
