First retail sighting in the wild. Fat packs, hangers, gravity feeds and blasters. Left them all for the kids.

Seems all the Targets and Walmarts have them around me as well...saw a fresh stock in Walmart yesterday and Target today.

They seem to going about 2 - 3x what the MLB Materials (jersey swatch) go for.

Retail alert:

Remember that 100-card retail only insert set Stars of the Game? It's not just even retail-exclusive; it's in single packs only.

Topps getting aggressive with their insert configurations this year.

Does anyone have the odds for the retail hanger boxes or fat packs? I saw the Blaster odds a few pages back but not those. Thanks.

I like that they are retro, it's a nice touch in comparison to past Flagship patch cards.

I will begin working on sketch cards for Series 2 shortly.

Are there any players you guys would like to see depicted as sketch cards for Series 2?

I'm pretty sure I beat the Odds on my Jumbo Case:
1) Gold Soto '84 Auto
2) Acuna Black Parallel
3) Nolan Ryan SSP
4) two more numbered autos and 3 numbered relics

plus the rest of the hits, sets, inserts, parallels, etc.

Are flagship inserts actually going to have good value this year?

Now that I've had a chance to open retail in all three configurations (blaster, fat pack and single packs), I have to say that I like what Topps has done by having a different insert in each configuration. Not only do I think its smart on their end getting people to sample the product in different ways its adds some fun (to my son and I at least) in the chase to track down some of these inserts.

The Stars of the Game was the last one for us to see in person, and so far, its our favorite. A really sharp looking insert set.

I can't track down the wrappers from yesterday, but I think I pulled one per pack.

One per pack in what configuration - the hanger box or the gravity pack or something else? Thanks.

Seems like the SP cards aren't very short printed. There's already a bunch of Blackmon and Arenado's on eBay. Just like 2018.

Seems a lot like the green retail parallels in 2018.

We aren't allowed to do Bumgarner, and I"m not sure about Mays or McCovey, but Posey, Koufax, Clark and Clemente are fair game.

I drew it some time ago (see below). Topps probably wouldn't allow it though
