Number of championships won?
- Bill Russell won 11 pro basketball championships
- Yogi Berra won 10 pro baseball championships
- Henri Richard won 10 pro hockey championships
- Even Robert Horry won more pro championships than Brady (7)

Win/Loss percentage in championships?
- lol.
- If Brady wins, his winning percentage will still be a mediocre 66%.
- Look at the other guys across sports with six or more championship rings—most of them went undefeated or only lost once.
- In 8 Super Bowls under Brady, the Patriots have only scored opponents by a mere 4 points with their largest margin of victory being 6 points.
- Brady's claim to greatness is predicated more on his number of Super Bowl appearances than on his dominance or success in those games.

Being the "heart and soul" of multiple championship team?
- Brady is a heck of a competitor. No denying that. A case could be made for Top 10 competitors in NFL history, but there's no strong case for him being the greatest of all-time.
- The Patriots went 11-5 with Matt Cassell replacing Brady.
- His greatest Super Bowl passing line was 37/50, 328 yards, 4 touchdowns, 2 interceptions against the Seahawks. A great game, but several QBs have had much greater games with far fewer appearances.
- Again, Brady's claim to greatness is predicated more on his number of Super Bowl appearances than on his dominance or success in those games.

Fewest "bad losses"?
- Eli Manning
- Eli Manning
- Nick Foles
- We could almost add Jake Del-freaking-hommes to this list.
- For better and for worse, Brady has beaten the best QBs he's faced and lost to the worst QBs he's faced.

Best of "all-time"?
- Go read up on some of the greatest Roman gladiators and charioteers.
- Jim Thorpe would also like a word.
- Brady isn't even the greatest post-1900, North American athlete.
- Speaking of geography, Brady has never faced international competition. Thorpe, Jordan, Kobe, and many others did and walked away with gold.

Most athletic? (you did say "athlete" and not "competitor" or "player")
- I don't think anyone on earth would call Tom Brady the greatest athlete of all-time.
- Exhibit A:

For the doubters/haters/jealous fans who won't sniff a title in football soon: How many superbowls will it take for Brady to be the GOAT?

Honest question.

I love you.

Most of all because you went through with quoting my entire post just to comment on the photo at the bottom.

Absolute mad lad.

Honest question.
At this point he needs a time machine, not more rings. Too many L’s to spell GOAT.

See, told you.

It’s better to lose earlier in the playoffs than to get to the Super Bowl and lose.

Frenzy: it's hard to give you any credibility because you are so blinded by jealousy/hate, but keep on it man.

Regardless of where you stand on it, this game is huge for his legacy.

It’s really not.

His legacy was cemented after 28-3...

I'll also just say this because I don't think people are talking about it enough. He really didn't play that good last game. 2 interceptions and a 3rd game losing interception if chiefs weren't lined up offsides.

28-3? Is his legacy as being great at comebacks or being the greatest player ever?

Why is one game going to swing 19 years one way or the other?

His legacy is what it is at this point. One of the all time greats.

Honest question.
What are you even commenting about? This is a goat of all sports discussion

Frankly 15 Super Bowls wouldn't put Brady above usain bolt on my list. For football only it's hard to argue against Brady; we get that. Manning, graham, Montana are the only ones you could remotely make a coherent argument for; and all for different reasons.

But Brady will never have an argument against Jordan, Gretzky, carl Lewis, usain bolt, Michael phelps

Brady is an accomplished player in a professional sport... he is the furthest thing from a truly great athlete as you can get in a discussion like this

Because he couldn't finish the job enough. 5-4 in superbowls while being in a division where you are basically handed the playoffs. Ask any athlete how much 2nd place is worth.

Brady isn’t a great athlete? Outside of his blown apart knee, how many games......nay.....PLAYS has he missed due to injury in his career?

The second half of 2001 AFCCG?

I mean come on...the guy is a phenomenal athlete...there is no argument against it.

I also think it is a fair question to ask how much Brady won those championships or if the system he was put in won those championships. How would a guy like Peyton or Rodgers have done on the patriots the last decade?

To me the greatest of all time needs to be irreplaceable.

Got it.

So tomorrow pushes the arrow one way or the other on 19 years of work.

Talk about pressure!
