That’s one thing I’m better at in life than Trout, growing a beard.

I'd rather a BGS 9 then a raw.

EDIT - just found a gold 9.5 that sold last month for $375. That's one hell of a bump in a month or someone really wanted that orange.

Well guess what. The sale of that orange was real. Seller left the buyer feedback. I guess he really wanted that card.

I think collectors are moving towards 2012 and 2013 low numbered parallels since 2011 prices are getting out of reach. Anyone knows the print run of 2012 Topps Update #144 Gold sparkle, Target Red and Walmart blue?

I bought this card after seeing the Tom Brady effect. It's not as mainstream as his topps issues, but BC orange is kinda iconic and anything of his /25 can't be a bad thing.

100% legit... 9100+ feedback... That's Spence... owner of the #1 Mike Trout Master Set on the PSA Set Registry. If it's a Trout he needs, he doesn't mess around!

That's a bad idea, because now she's going to want the money from the sales.

I'm not sure if it's people moving on from the rookie stuff because it's out of their range or just people expanding on to the earlier stuff. Could be people just wanting anything low numbered by Trout. I just sold a 2014 Bowman Chrome Orange the other day for near $300.

Problem with that buy is going to be people for the next 3 months are going to see and use that as a jumping off point for their other 2012 Bowmans. Making all colors more expensive. I understand it's one sale but sellers are going to use that and some buyers are going to end up paying more due to it. Fine for Spence, since that probably completed his set and now doesn't need anything from it.

As a buyer, common sense goes a long way. The sale is real. That doesn't make it reasonable.

Come on now. You're a buyer and seller. You know people don't have a lot of common sense.

Edit: Should add too. A lot of sellers aren't reasonable.

Without question, there are a lot of unreasonable sellers...especially when it comes to Trout. Sellers are emboldened by the market, and I would also go so far as to say some sellers treat potential customers differently (more poorly) when selling Trout as opposed to most other players. That's why it's on the buyer not to get too caught up in it all, and not to take every single sales point as gospel. Common sense and a big grain of salt go a long way.

I am no exception - I have knowingly overpaid on a bunch of stuff recently and I hate myself for it. LOL. I am just glad that I finally completed my main collecting goal when it comes to Trout...so I am looking forward to sitting on the sidelines a lot more now and just enjoying the season. My wallet (and my posterior) certainly needs the rest.
