Brian should respond on here. I actually like Leaf a lot. I think they take risks (and fail sometimes), but on the whole they put out attractive and creative sets.

His company's credibility is on the line. I do believe he knows he needs to take action with this employee.

On the contrary, people with cluttered desktops are psychopaths

I was going to say the same about zero unread emails! Haha.

Good work on the email, Rob. Let us know how the talk goes!

I'm trying to actually be productive at work but I can't unglue my eyes from this thread. This could actually be the beginning of a downfall for BGS and Leaf, and of course wjc. I'm so happy for all the work some of you guys and gals put into this hobby.

Info on Beckett's Graders

One of the things I've been doing since I opened the superdan49@protonmail.com anonymous e-mail tip-line is cultivating sources. Just got this from a very trusted source:

Beckett divides their graders into junior and senior graders. "There is no way a junior grader can give those results out." Therefore the culprit working with Joe Clemons is likely one of "the senior graders that have been there for awhile."

Beckett: Who graded these cards? Which of your senior graders is involved here?

I've never seen anything like this. I think that Mantle thread was the hobby equivalent of Bear Sterns or something. I don't mean a card industry collapse, but that at the outset of a major problem, no one was really sure who had what.

I always thought there was something fishy about these two cards. I have no clue if anything shady happened here but figured I would post them because it is interesting. Check out the sequential serial numbers. Maybe someone had them as quad 10's before black labels became a thing I have no clue.

The facts are laid out. But I am sure we will be entertained by your attempt at deflection.

Credibility?

It would take me 10 mins to get started making a list of the shady and or questionable activity they have had since being “razor”

Everything from cherry picking cards, releasing a then unknown sp list to certain supporters, kill the value of their own cards with unannounced better versions, disappearing prizes that show up in their shop. Among others I’m sure I’m forgetting

Why wait???? If you had nothing to hide you should just be forthcoming with the information.

In all seriousness, this really pisses me off to no end.

Though I'm upset at the "trimming/conserving" issue, I felt somewhat of a distance from it because I do not deal in high end cards and only rare vintage.

But this one really hits home: I have graded probably about a 100 cards through BGS over the years, done my best to pick out the most discerning cards I could, and like everyone else on these boards put my mistaken faith in them to give me a fair and accurate assessment and grade my cards ethically.

That has all been shattered. The fix is in.

Yes, I know "grading is scam" That point has been nailed in the coffin today.
