Default A guy walks into a Flea Market with $200...

The weather in Chicago was finally good enough to hit up the big Flea Market I often troll looking for deals.

With $200 burning a hole in my pocket, I came away with all these gems.

Two Dozen Full Size Wilson footballs to use for autograph cashing. Cost, $3.00 each

I absolutely hate singed Replica jerseys, but Mike Brown of the Bears is a tough signature to find. For $25, I had to pick it up.

$3.00 for a full size football display case? I'll take it

One seller had some open cases of mid 90's Classics wax. All sealed, some with guaranteed autos, all at $4 a box. I took the lot

And this one takes the cake, you never know what you are going to find.

Maybe Game Used, or at the very least it was a Game Issued. All proper tags for a 1999 Jim Miller Gamer.

Fun fact, Jim made his first starts for the Bears during this 1999 season. Before he became the first quarterback to be suspended by the NFL for violation of its substance abuse policy.

And it was even signed, which often means it was worn and given away after a game. Its not like they have paint pens on the sidelines, but there are plenty of black markers to use. Who knows, but for what I paid, who cares?

I think member Stifle would be really interested in that Mike Brown jersey if he doesn't have one already.

If you are looking to move the wax, I would totally be interested. I liked Clear Assets way too much in the 5th grade and would be a laugh to open again. If not, have fun with that break.

LOL

I dont trust myself around wax, I put it all on ebay as soon as I got home. Sold half of it by that night.

Cheap, fun breaks are hard to come by these days!

I used to go those when I lived in Chicago. I would always find good deals on cards.

Believe it or not I went to one here and found one person selling cards.. and scored a sweet deal on a Walter Payton rookie.
