I've searched Blowout for more information about these but I haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. I'm trying to find out how many there are in the collection.
Newfield Publications - "Sports Pages" How many baseball 'cards'? 115??? How many total 'cards' in the collection? 175??? Football? Hockey? Soccer? I'd be grateful for any information, thanks. - |

Go to the PSA Forums or Net54 if no answer here.

Do you have a picture of one of the cards?
I may be able to do a better search if I had one. |

They were mail-order 8.5"x11" paper (when folded) player biographies. Designed to fit a 3-hole punch binder. In the mid-90s they were sent out to anyone who had a subscription to a hobby publication like Tuff Stuff or SCD. They usually came 3 subjects per cellophane pack. Have no idea if anyone actually signed up for the subscription. And I would imagine that's the only way to verify the Subject/Sport. But if memory serves it covered a wide variety of sport themes. Sort of a cheaper version of the vintage plastic Sportcaster Cards. Last edited by 808MadMacs; 03-13-2019 at 01:20 PM. |

Does anyone have a checklist for these? I have about 200 different pages in the 10 categories.

I started that thread on FCB to help me finished checklisting that set, but the Sports Pages are a different issue than Sports Heroes, although quite similiar in look and distribution.
I don't have a good answer for the OP, as I have way fewer of the Sports Pages and have never tried to checklist them...yet. I have 2-3 binders worth, but have yet to organize them. I suspect that their run was much more brief and maybe 200 or so pages is a good guess for a starting point. When people sell those binders, it typically includes one. When a Sports Heroes collection is sold, it is often 4-6 or more binders. The Sports Heroes set is fairly large in comparison, with over 1000 different pages. Quote:
