Hasnt been one I can think of, as UD hasnt thrown their weight around on many players. They skipped out on Bennett, Wiggins, etc. They made a run at Simmons (obviously) skipped last year and are making a run again.

They picked up Miles Bridges last year, but he is RP.

I agree, but almost seems to me these recent guys have been guided into UD by their agent. Panini could way outspend UD for Zion if came down to it(and I think he's worth enough to them that they would if it was a matter of that he's 100% going to be exclusive to someone) Just don’t think other agents have the UD loyalty to push their client 1 way for less $. My hunch here is hell sign for multiple companies and milk the money.

They have been guided because they have been the top picks that are seen as generational talents. That is why UD has gone after them more than their agents. I think he ends up with Panini, but I think Panini also realizes it can be effective to let UD overpay for Zion.

Fudge. When I read this, its inevitable that he signs an exclusive deal with UD now. I hope that's not the case, but we all know it could swing that way.

The only positive is that product prices should stabilize, maybe even eventually drop a little.

Unless panini has someone that can get to Zion quickly and show him the money (Kobe? Kd?), this may be 2016-17 all over again with Simmons.
