At current prices which year Series 1 / 2 product is best bang for your buck for Young Guns? 2015/16 S2 looks pretty good but not sure of anyone besides Eichel in it

UD2 Retail 15-16 and UD1 retail 17-18 are cheap and fun. There were good deals on boxes of UD1 14-15 retail, but their price went up when Draisaitl started getting hot.

Just my opinion but if it isn't eichel in 15/16 S2 and it isn't the mcdavid Canvas(which I believe was S2) it just isn't worth it.

I too pulled a McDavid from a blaster from 15-16 UD Series 1. Didn’t even get through all of my case of blasters — still have 8 left over.
I kind of went all in on 15-16 — own a case of Series 1 Hobby and Retail and recently bought Series 2 Hobby and Retail. Not sure how much I will branch out to other years. Will have to do a little bit of research before pulling the trigger. Marchand is probably correct in saying that series 2 is Eichel or McDavid canvas or bust. |

Thanks for all your input. I've always been a big hockey fan just never collected it until recently. My first purchase was preordering 2019-20 S1

I pulled my McD YG from a tin and have pulled good YG cards from retail boxes. I haven’t had a lot of luck with hobby boxes and so I don’t think the value is there for the extra cost. You get the same number of YG and canvas YG anyways. I’ve opened hobby boxes and haven’t gotten any hobby hits. Ultimately depends on what you really want. If you just want to collect the YGs or insert cards stick with retail.
