I am working on the write-up. If not tonight then tomorrow. I did not include the corners but your total is correct. The pieces of paper left on the card after tearing the perforations are known as teeth.

A long time ago when I first noticed this, I believe there may have been some recut cards in Beckett holders too, not just PSA holders. The thing that was most remarkable, if my memory serves me correctly, is that the number of teeth was off by quite a bit. It should have been obvious to the affected grading services but they still slabbed the altered cards. I can only imagine the extent of the problem now.

The recent high grade sales on eBay were all BGS, and all wrong. In a quick scan of PWCC marketplace, the PSA 10’s were hit and miss, but tough to tell with the low res images.

How is it possible to trim those cards then fake the "teeth" they have such a distinctive look?

Remember that two of the PSA 10 SI4K Tiger Woods cards were submitted by Moser (old account, right?) according to the thread on PSA's message board:

If I read this right the submitter was syzygy3.14
That wasn't Gary, it was another (alleged) card "conserver"

There are many different types of perforating machines for sale online. Some have multiple attachments.

I've submitted a number of the SIFK cards, I'm pretty adept at separating them from the sheets, I have never received a 10, about half 8s and half 9s and I can't tell the difference usually.

Access to that type of machine that does those for a single side and used four times? I wouldn't put it past the ill gotten reward profit.

Yeah, PSA has $100K of cold sweat on that one...

The Woods buyer was anonymous, it would be most interesting if the owner received a guaranteed refund there.

This is truly amazing. BODA has now uncovered 2 very convincing mounds of evidence pointing to insider grading corruption at the 2 'most trusted' grading companies on earth. And I suspect there will only be more as time passes.

Ah yes, Gerry Schwartz - known associate of Moser. I knew there was a connection between the account and Moser.

Here is one of those cards. Plummeted to $4000 back in 2009:

That’s a great example. After looking at a bunch of these it’s easy to spot the ones that have an unnatural perforation before even counting the teeth.

The altered ones have an exaggerated serrated look, if that's the right word.

If there is corruption, insider trading, favorable treatment, etc. within these TPG companies, which seems certain at this point, why would they need to trim and re-perforate a card like this? Why not just crack a nice 9 out and have your guy at PSA give it a 10?

Right edge doesn't look natural.

I don't have any experience with the SIFK cards, but were they really that easy to pull apart and not jack up the card? Because this one does not look like it was cut - there's too much fraying on the teeth. I would expect a cut one... to look cut.

Exactly. But it seems likely that we’re looking at multiple corruption types here at different times.
