Not quite.

Just because supply becomes scarcer doesn't increase value. Demand functions into the equation as well.

Because if in the future they're worth $20, you'll be wanting to spend $10 all day long to flip for 100% gains.

I’m obviously counting on higher demand in the future, professor.

If you don’t have foresight now, I wouldn’t expect you to have it in the future either.

New tattoo time.
It's a good thing I have massive guns, else I'd be running out of room.

My question is why do you think demand would be higher in the future?

As ThoseBackPages noted, if people don't want to pay $5 now, why would they want to pay more in the future?

If there is one thing that is pretty consistent throughout the history of the hobby, it's that interest in older releases/players decreases each time something new comes out.

The bet is that the quality of the art and the limited (and published) print run will eventually set these apart from the other cards of this era. Even if not, I'm happy with my full set and will continue building it for the time being with zero regard for current or future resale value.

I just cataloged weekly set #75. I've been getting them since week 1, does anyone else have the complete set thus far? Sorry if it's already been discussed, but I didn't want to search through 400 pages!

I'm also happy with my full set! Probably aren't too many complete ones around

I'm close to complete. Once I put these in binders I will figure out which weeks I am missing. I think I am missing 3 weeks worth

How do you know this for sure? People buy singles of cards without buying all cards each week.

Low pr = 2461, therefore no more than that # of sets can exist.

Hence 2461 or Less references not 400 pages back, but right on this page.

Yes, i know that, and i saw that, but to definitely state there are 2461 sets is probably not accurate. It's much likely a lot less than 2461 complete sets. So, again, how does anyone know how many complete sets actually exist?
