Favre retired then 3-4 months later wanted to unretired and be handed starting job back when told no made sure he went to the Packers biggest rival to stick it to GB. Luck just retired big difference. Wonder how fans would react if Luck in 1-2 years wants to come back but Colts are happy with Jacoby and are all in on him.

He played for the Jets the year after the Packers didn’t he? And he never played for the Bears that I recall.

Yeah. Iirc Packers traded him to Jets with some clause that the Jets couldn't trade him back to NFC Central without having to send picks back to the Packers. He then retired, the Jets released him, and then unretired and went to the Vikings.
