Exactly! I would have been pumped if Barry cards dropped like a rock so I could snatch them all up. I could care less about the value of his cards. I collect Barry because he is my all time favorite player from college and from the pros and played for my favorite team.

Awesome! That's what I'm finding too - a lot of rookie stuff I always felt was overpriced vs. other stuff I wanted for my collection that I'm now close to or picking up (have a bunch of 2012 topps chrome bgs/psa refractors incoming)

We'll see. Will snag a contenders eventually myself too still seems higher than I'd want to pay (for now).
