I’m sure playing against real people is fine. Leagues fine. But against the CPU I’m about done with this series.

There’s only so much hitting then ball hard right at someone I can take. There’s only so much blatant catch up code I can take. Nothing like scoring 4 runs early then watch CPU get 8 2 out hits in a row on pitches on corners
I hear you. The show is becoming like madden where they basically abandon the offline modes because online is so popular.

The Miller and Edmonds coming out both look pretty good coming out tomorrow. POTM is Castellanos at 95 OVR.

The extreme moments look pretty hard. They only showed a few on the stream. One set is ‘caution’ and the other is ‘warning’. Have to complete caution missions first.

The hardest one they showed at least to me is 7 homers in 10 games with Gallo on All-Star.

They also showed a comeback from 10 runs after the 5th inning on all-star, 3 saves in 3 games with no hits, walks, hbp, or wild pitches on Hall of Fame, and winning a 3 inning game with the Yetis (all common players) against a Cooperstown Legends team on All-Star.

Going to be a ridiculous grind. Rewards are various different packs in addition to the Miller and Edmonds. Both of those cards are non-sellable.

Looks like a cool concept. The edmonds will be amazing. His cards are always so good. I could probably plug the 90 into my lineup for anyone and not lose any production

Edmonds is nice but that miller is crazy. I know it was time for a RP SS and we got a good one.

Yep. Going to take some serious grinding and some frustration along the way.

I have to say, I’ve only tried 2 so far. Completed the 3 saves on HOF first try.

Then I tried the 10 run comeback. I scored 4 in the 6th, and 2 in the 7th. In the 9th I had 2 on 2 out and worked a 3-1 with Griffey up. Fernando Rodney grooved me one and I missed the it for a pop fly. But I had fun. The kicker also is that you have to pitch so they can keep scoring more too.

These missions will be difficult but my plan is to bounce around giving an attempt or two at a time so as not to induce rage on myself. Especially since a lot of them span over multiple games, or longer games in general.

Good idea.

I probably won’t try.

Finally got the JR last night. Busy month.

I’m guessing SP, LF and SS today.

I could see first 1B instead of SS. No doubt it’s a SP today

Pretty close. 2 out of 3 and the other is still a corner OF

Finished off the first set for Edmonds yesterday, will give a shot at the second set for Miller. Won't try and get them all done in one day or anything, like others will probably bounce around from mission to mission so I don't get frustrated with it. It is a game after all!

Good for you.

I have the Mays. I’ll stick with him

The content drops have been awesome, despite the gameplay at times. I started the NL Sig teams today. First was fine, the second against the Marlins rather than being a 3 inning game went to 8 in a 0-0 tie. I had I think 7 hits to their two but couldn’t get a run in. Justin Bour hits a walk off.

Those are the games making me not want to continue. But my team is coming along great so I keep playing.

It’s not like it’s a secret...flipping the market you can get anybody you want. An earlier post I contemplated selling Griffey, I made enough stubs flipping sponsorships, equipment, and unlockables that I’ve been able to buy As Chapman, Brett, Granderson, Ford, Jack Morris, Harvey, Goose, Treinen. I haven’t spent a dime in micro transactions. I put in buy orders, wait them out and if they don’t hit just delete and go back through and do it again. Especially on weekends. Last weekend I probably spent 2 hours on the game and made 200k.

For 7th inning I think I’m going with Dawson, he will start over Granderson and take HR Derby Acuna’s spot on the bench

I’m actually surprised and not at the same time. I will give SDS that. The content has been amazing. 20 days for 7th inning, but having the sig team moments getting 6 stars per, next Friday will be AL. That’s 180 program stars just grinding.

The Hunter card has been awesome for me. Love his stance and swing. If I get my PCI placement on a pitch it’s a base hit.

I jumped in late on this game, wish I had played from the start. But even now, $40 to buy the game and a ton of content for the last 3 months of the season. Haven’t touched Franchise or RTTS, figure ill do that after the season. Diamond dynasty is the best in my opinion. Madden UT and 2K don’t even come close.

You can have a pretty legit team with out spending money

You can grind it. Which I will. Big thing is getting conquest and 10 wins done. Those are huge. I’ll be close but I should get there

Some cool cards dropping lately. Haven't played the game in weeks. Gonna start grinding again. Madden has taken a turn for the worst. They need to fix a lot of things before I invest anymore time into the game lol

Big content drop today. Headliners are SS Reyes and Fingers. I didn’t hit either but bought the Reyes.

Vlad Sr. Is the reward for signature teams, though they just released 2 sets and now the games are 6 innings on All-Star as opposed to 3 on Veteran. Al is for SS Guidry, NL is for SS A-Gonz, collect all for Vlad.

I love my team, and it’s all been free along the way, but my 1B/2B situation is difficult. I selected Bagwell for 7th inning and intended on Joe Morgan as my silver level 1 choice. Then Reyes dropped. Sold Bags to get him at 129k.

Lineup after Reyes is:

Reyes, T Hunter, Dawson, Griffey Jr., HanRam, Cepeda, Brett, Kendall

Reyes has been floating around 170k since the initial surge, so I could make some stubs if he stays there. I could flip Reyes, net 30k stubs, get Joe Morgan for 2B at silver level 1. Or, keep Reyes, get Frank Thomas as my silver 1.

I’ve been flipping the market hard, it fluctuates so much though. Any advice? My SP are currently 99 Kershaw, Hamels, Ford, Jack Morris, AS Castillo.

Need rotation help and another solid lefty RP, bought the AS Chapman. Sold Vazquez assuming he will be taken out of the game given his situation. I want the 97 Miller but those moments are too much time invested for the reward for me. Not a bad team for 2 months playing and no real $ invested.

I just want to say that SS Roberto Alomar is the best card in this game, and LS Charlie Blackmon is the greatest pinch hitter to ever walk the earth.

Agree on Blackmon. He literally smacks everything hard if you get the PCI even close.

Morgan has been killer for me, hits a ton of homers and diamond defense plus 99 speed.

I use the Morgan. I like it. But the alomar is better. I think his stance is better to hit with

Nice! Before I went to bed last night I put mine up for 180k and it sold. Netted me 33k from what I paid so I recouped the damage from buying the packs. Grabbed the Morgan this AM. So far so good (only have played conquest though)

After using the same lineup for the past 6ish weeks, coupled with a severe case of boredom last weekend, I decided to start chasing Mays.

Wish I had done it sooner. I always just sold my live series people, or did the exchange thing where you could do commons > bronze > silver > gold.

Started flipping all of my sig series, diamonds, flashbacks, etc. Sold Griffey, Wagner, among others. I am now down to the Angels and Red Sox. I have 292K stubs, so will try to buy Trout while I finish up my work shift tonight. Gonna need another 40k or so to clear the Red Sox (Need Betts, Sale, JD and a few others)

Excited to have basically a new team made up of unsellables. Lineup should look like:

C SS Kendall
1B SS Gehrig
2B SS Hornsby
SS SS Reese
3B SS Donaldson
LF SS Hunter (Maybe sub LS Trout here?)
CF SS Mays
RF SS Gwynn

Kershaw SS, Gibson SS, Ryan SS, Verlander LS, Cole LS
