Has anyone else noticed within the last few months he’s going a lot quicker. I know you have to do breaks quickly, but before he would find every single colored refractor, colored regular card, and every single serial numbered card. Lately he goes so quick that I’ve noticed in about 10-15 breaks over the last few months that he’s passed colored cards with ease. I’m nowhere near saying he’s ripping people off. He’s probably the best in the business. It’s just when a colored card should be separated for shipping and it doesn’t happen it could be damaged in shipping. I’ll still buy sealed product from him, but think I’m done doing live breaks. P.S. I meant he’s only missing color in personal breaks, not group breaks.

Happen to me too but it was in Heritage, he passed all the variation cards and packed them in with the base. I guess it all depends on how well you know the product and hits that come out of it.

I've been doing personals with him since Tattoo was still around and I haven't noticed much of a change in how he handles shipping the hits, I would say he has always packed numbered cards of lower tier names in with the base. He has very good knowledge of who the bigger names are. I actually don't like it when breakers put every single numbered card in a top loader, its a waste of time and money when the cards are basically COMC fodder anyway. Ultimately you end up paying for unnecessary protection anyway, breakers factor their supplies cost into the breaks.
The reason the group breaks get more attention is the cards have to get sorted anyway and he needs a really good video record in case someone thinks there serial number, division, or team was sent to the wrong break participant. Im glad for quicker personal breaks or he would be there forever. it took him a long time to even start opening all the packs first. Also, you should absolutely email him and give him your feedback, he is a super nice person and will take more care when handling your breaks. Last edited by danimal875; 10-01-2019 at 10:25 AM. |

If you're on the live stream, just ask him to go back and check. He'll do it. Awesome dude. He just wants to keep the video short as he is in a store now and dont want to be stuck there until 11 pm.

I'm a big fan of Chris. I e-mailed Topps' Allen & Ginter division about including an autographed card of him in 2020 A&G, since he's sort of the godfather of box breaking. I've noticed that he goes a little faster, but I think it's due to increased sales and limited time.

personally, I don't do breaks with this Chris but I think he's one of the best breakers out there. I enjoy watching his videos because they are short and to the point. But I agree he should not overlook "hits". He seems like a super cool guy too. |

Chris is a great guy, one of the original breakers on YT. Good to see he's gotten a store again, I know he moved a while ago and looked like he was breaking out of his basement and wasnt doing as much volume.

Can't you just see Chris breaking a box, pulling his own card, and saying something like "And who's that handsome guy with a nice signature? Oh, it's meeee. Congrats on your great pull. That was a nice one." Last edited by jayjones82; 10-01-2019 at 11:13 AM. |

I love Chris as well. By far the best breaker out there. I do wish he’d do recaps for every break, which he doesn’t always do anymore from what I’ve noticed. He is probably the most honest guy out there, and I 100% support a 2020 A&G card of him. He deserves it.

myself as being one of Chris volume customers in the past, placing hundreds of orders a year, i have not had a single issue of damage on any type of card when they are packaged the way he does. So i agree with others, if there was a specific card that you hit that you feel should be in a separate holder, contact Chris directly, email, text, call, anything and he will be more than happy to oblige. now, if you are complaining about some of his dry sense of humor, well, we all havent figured out how to stop that

I hit a couple breaks on Ebay when I need a fix.
95% of my money or more stays on Blowout. Sometimes when you need a fix, my guys are busy or booked up. If it doesn't break BO rules, anyone got a link to Chris... never heard of him or don't remember. |
