PSA 10 Update Blue ended a few days ago at $4,400.

What would a PSA 9 sell for today? I have not seen one on eBay in ages. Plenty of 10s, a couple 8s... I think a 7 as well... but no 9s. What would the ballpark figure be on a 9? $2,000? $2,500? $3,000?

Anyone's guess, some cards are selling for much less, some at a premium. Not sure how much of a bump his cards will get in November after his 3rd MVP. How much is baked in already? Just a weird time, NBA, NFL, mike ending the season with surgery... market seems fickle

A BGS 9.5 also sold recently for $2125. I can't see a PSA 9 going for more then that. More then $1500 but less then $2000 is my guess.

Looks pretty OC to me regardless. Why would you ever buy that card in an ungraded state anyhow? Doesn't look trimmed to me but PSA 8 candidate imo at best. At least the auto is nice.

That's a nice card. The 2014 will also sell well. Just wait until next season if you are selling.

This won't be the first time Trout gets snubbed for the MVP if he does. It's happened at least twice before. I wouldn't count on him getting it. I think Bregman is a little more likely to take it despite Trout clearly having better numbers.

Trout has yet to win an actual race at the wire. Lost to Miggy (twice!) and Donaldson, any of which he could have won (higher WAR in all 3) only Betts blew passed him statistically for his MVP with his season for the ages (top 20 WAR season of all time). On that note, I think this is the year he wins the race. I've read a lot about voters getting pressure to have their ballots submit prior to the final day of the season which I believe favors Trout. I've also seen public ballots with Verlander above Bregman. It's just crazy to think that Trout is the Lebron of MLB, you can literally find a reason to give it to the guy every year, is he really only going to wind up with 2 after 8 MVP caliber season? I just don't see that happening but it seems someone always has a reason to discredit his individual performance/contribution.
