The thing that surprises me the most is how they're already making 'good' teams look pedestrian minus their 2nd best player. And this was a 40 win squad before their FA acquisitions.

Unfortunately for the rest of the league, they braced themselves for the very real possibility of Kawhi heading back home, but very few saw that coming with PG packaged in.
I guess, as a Nuggets fan, I feel the mountaintop has been lowered a few thousand feet this season. Maybe that’s not accurate but it’s how I feel. Going from the GSW dynasty of steph, kd, Klay, Draymond, iggy and supporting cast to LAC of kwahi, pg, Lou, Beverly it feels more beatable. Maybe that’s not true and maybe Denver isn’t ready but I feel they will be a tough out and it’ll be a hell of a ride.

I love how the BO sentiment in the Luka/Trae debate wavers by the hour.

I totally get what you're saying. West is still open...Clippers are the best team on paper by a wide margin. But that's on paper. Crazier things have happened. But they do have the best player and closer in the game, so it's really hard to overlook.

They're both stars and possible superstars in the making...and both clutch despite having different styles.

There's no wrong answer between them.

Suns really feel like an upper tier vet and good coach away from being really competitive.

It will come in a loss, but hell of a game from Brogdon. Amazing to look back and see all the bums drafted ahead of him.

They've been hitting big shots all quarter. Good win for them!

Great for the league when the bottom feeders start coming out of the woodwork. The west is wild.

He knows basketball.

Booker gave Bev that work all night. Mightily impressive. This team has been either super competitive or won so far to start the season. Wow.

Suns win on the second night of a back to back, after an overtime game, with no Rubio, against the already crowned 2019-20 nba champion Clippers.

Man early season basketball is wild.

The Suns are playing crazy hard on both ends of the court same as they did last night against the nuggets. I have money on them winning less than 30 games and after seeing their effort tonight am ready to burn that ticket, lol. They look very competitive, not playoff worthy as I think other teams will geo and beat them but probably high 30s in wins like Sacramento last year. Sacramento on the other hand looks like garbage.

Back to the Clippers though, they settled for too many long shots and dint love the ball enough. The suns definitely got in their head. There was a chance where the clippers were down 7 and Lou launched another 3 which missed (he had just made two consecutive). It seemed like that should have been attack to the basket and then the suns unravel. But it was a swing the other way and the Suns scored the next four points and it was over.

Still unsure why Kawhi was pulled towards the late part of the 4th, then put back in. Odd.

In any event, I'm not sure how long the Suns keep this up, but it's fun to watch a team everyone wrote off actually going out there and getting wins. I feel sorry for the 'rebound' squad up next on the Clippers schedule.
