That's funny. You know what i like about Luka besides the fact that he's an awesome player? When i see him help other guys up off the floor from the other team on a regular basis. Or apologize for an unintentional hard hit. I've seen him go shake another players hand and let him know that it wasn't on purpose several times. People remember that kind of stuff. It just goes to show that he's a good dude. And i can see people in the near future lining up wanting to be his teammate.

Prizm Mosaic is a gorgeous set. Gives 90s vibes.

The finish to the cards is very similar to the 1997-98 Finest Embossed Silver Refractors.

For those who collect 90s: I think of Prizm Mosaic as Series 2 (action shots from 18-19 season), and Prizm as Series 1.

A while back I watched this case break and made some mathematical inferences based on it. Bear in mind the sample size is small -- only one case break.

Here's the bottom-line: There was probably somewhere between 839 and 1920 base sets produced.

Here's how I arrived at that conclusion (top rows represent the number of each type of card pulled from the case):

I agree mosaic deserves some love. They are not bad in person. Also the price is relatively fair now. I think optic and Prizm silver are too popular and the price are way too high now. I might garb them after season is off and the hype is cooling down a little bit. So getting mosaic is actually not a bad idea right now IMO. Just grab 2 last week.

I don't think he'll win but he's definitely in the conversation right now although it's very early. If the Mavs can get on a roll and make the playoffs or somehow miraculously finish in the top 3 of the West who knows? What he's doing is unprecedented for his age. His offensive stats are better then LeBron's but his team obviously isn't in 1st place and his defense isn't great. I think that will change in the future as he matures. I don't think he'll ever be all NBA or anything but he's smart enough to know where to be and what he needs to do to be effective.

What's going to be crazy is the West All-Star team this year. Loaded!

The only way Luka wins MVP this year is if he continues to play like he is so far and the Mavs are the top seed in the west. Is that possible? Sure, but it is highly unlikely. It is more likely that the Lakers, Rockets or Bucks are the top seed and LeBron, Harden or Giannis take home the prize again.

Dude's definitely in the conversation early on, but according to BR apparently Clint Capela and Bam Adebayo are as well.

If PG13 didn't get it last year Luka kind of fits that same mold.

Whoever wins the MVP of that group is going to have the best record. Because they're all putting up absurd stats. The MVP is heavily influence by winning. It's too early for the Mavs to realistically have a shot in the West. I just thought it was neat that he was in the top 5 right now that's why i posted it. That's all. Luka will have his chance many times in the future but for right now my money would be on Giannis, LeBron, or Harden. To even be mentioned after those 3 is an honor for young Luka.

Just watched his Spurs highlights. His feel for the game at 20 is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. He truly is a basketball savant. How much better can he get? I feel like I’m watching an MVP caliber player right now. He won’t win it due to the competition being right there with him and the Mavs won’t have a good enough record, but this guy is just on another level. I have zero Luka cards... just a genuine appreciation for his game.
