Who was that one player you thought was really good, but in reality was not?

Chris Volstad, for some stupid reason I thought this guy was really solid for sometime. I was wrong, he had one good half of a year his rookie year.

When I was young, I scored free tickets to a Tigers game from my local radio station by answering a basic trivia question, the answer to which was "Aurelio Rodriguez."

When I went to the game with my Dad, for some reason Aurelio walked by through the concourse where we were in line for Cokes and Hot Dogs, in full uniform, just a few feet away. Amazing.

The game at hand was the first MLB game I had ever attended; a 1-0 Tigers victory over the White Sox; Aurelio had the GWRBI and made a key defensive stop to save a Run.

Greatest Baseball Player ever.
