I probably will bust, but debating on selling these. I'm not a huge Bowman Draft guy.

Bowman Heritage box prices are trending up. Maybe because of Bowman Draft Sapphire. Has not been released to public yet. But if prices continue to climb could be a similar situation as yesterday when it goes live.

If they do those stupid mini waves, it definitely will be.

There is no perfect way to do it, but if they release everything at once, at least it will give more people who spend 15-20 minutes fighting the system a chance of actually completing the process.

I think it would also be helpful if Topps would state the box limit in the pre-release announcement like they do for the MC pre-sale. Takes time guessing what the actual box limit is and when it changes from 10 to 3 to 1 makes it even more difficult.

Finally got my shipping notice and according to the tracking info they provided they will be here today. I didn’t pay for overnight shipping but did pay the few extra for home delivery over smartpost. No way the tracking info is correct in my mind but I’d be thrilled if it is.

Was planning on ripping one and selling two but if I get them today I may take my chances on ripping them all and seeing how the singles sell

Spoke with Topps about the order. They said all first sets should have been shipped out and received. If you still don’t have it, like me, call them and let them know. As far as the pre-sale, they are going to have something in place for the next release so that the 3 box limit per membership is adhered to.

Yes, this is the main thing that I think would be possible if you only need to monitor a "small" group of 2000-2500. It would be fairly easy to see where non-human like behavior is coming from and if that IP has several non-humans going at it.

Though I do think a $10k buy in club makes some sense I think all it would do is funnel all product back to distributors who as mentioned will just have their employees sign up for the buy in. This would also make us all mini-distributors and leave our exposure at all time highs. Overproduction and then a collapse would all most likely happen again. I'm sure Topps has internal notes on their 90's Member's Only and can figure out ways to make this one better. I would highly suggest to cap membership because that seemed to be the doom of the Member's Only in the 90's - too much supply and not enough demand. As is, seems like the Club membership is willing to absorb all of the production run. Hope they can find a way for all of us to stick around for years and years to come.

Next time they do this, they just need to 'accidentally' set the price at $350 instead of $35 when it first launches.

Anyone who buys at that price and asks for a return gets banned.

I agree, I hope they pass up the short term monetary jump and instead opt for longer gains. I see a HEAVY benefit of being a member this year, however I can see myself saying "last year was better" this time next year.

Only time can tell, I hope they keep membership where it is though.

They need to do a hard cap of one membership per account/per address/per CC or whatever else you want to limit this. If you want to make this an exclusive membership you can't have some people with multiple. Then after they figure that out cap the pre-sale boxes. If you want to please all your members give everyone that wants some 3-5 and make the rest available to the general public.

This next part is just an estimate:
Had it been done this way you would have had 1500 memberships instead of 2000 all buying 5 boxes meaning 7500 boxes sold and then a ton more available for a more bot resistant general release.

Topps does have the ability to flag names and accounts using bots to make purchases to prevent them from buying in the future. Imagine what having 13,000 instead of like 8,500 available in the presale looks like without bot orders going through.

I also strongly believe that next TC Sapphire release will have more parallels and Topps will bump up the price to $70 a box and the next Bowman Sapphire release will have autos and will also be $70 per box.

We showed them that a non-auto release will break the internet. I could see them doing a Bowman Sapphire, Bowman Chrome Sapphire and Bowman Draft Sapphire next year easily. Autos or not we showed them if they wanna make money, there are more ways.
