The costs to operate a white hat group might cost a few bills a month at most. Rather than BODA spending countless hours searching for endless examples of altered cards over years to paint a picture that grading apologists could arbitrarily challenge, a white hat group could provide the same picture BODA could, likely a much more accurate one, in 2-3 months at most. |

Oh, it's that simple. Got it. Which agency do you propose? The FTC? The FDA maybe? Baseball cards are a drug of sorts, after all.

Collectors are STILL making excuses for PSA working with card doctors, they are addicted to the slab.

Buy metal framed cards like museum, transcendent, gold label, etc. Trimming issue solved.
The scammers can't take their twizzers to those

I'm using before photos from a prior sale of the card. Listing purchased by acme.cards is first Worthpoint link below. Pretty poor job of trimming on this one, as usual.

What a disaster that trimmed 1969 Clemente is. Call me a purist, but if someone offered me the PSA 9 for $100, I'd pass.

It's cards like the Clemente that always make me think there is definitely preferential treatment or a man on the inside. None of us regular people would get a 9 on that card. You can still see edge wear on lower left front, corner ding on upper left back, and that 'registration' tilt is awful. The card even in the PSA 9 holder looks like a 7 and I would never consider sending it in for grading. But sure enough, Evan gets a 9 on that hack job.

Wow. The right border of that Clemente is one of the worst hack-jobs I've seen. If that card made it by the experts at PSA, I'm assuming almost anything can. One for the ages.

Another incredibly obvious example of a trimmed card. I sound like a broken record here: HOW IS PSA MISSING THESE!!!!!!!!!!!!! simple explanation: a. blatant incompetence b. grader on the inside giving "favors" c. flat out corruption |

It appears as though that was trimmed to compensate for the left edge, to make it look diamond cut.
Right edge post trim doesn't appear any more worse than the left. Definitely not deserving of a 9, or any numerical grade for that matter.

I just noticed the PWCC write-up argued that the 69 Clemente could be a PSA10!!!

That's scummy. Glad Ricky doesn't do that.

I offer this opinion mainly because I have had no issues with him and found him to be above board. I would not be so quick to judge if you have nothing more on him that he was once hired by Evan to work with him at a National as a consultant. |

Not sure what he has been like the last few years but he got called out for a lot of shady stuff early on over on Net54. He was famous for threatening everyone with his lawyer. |

All I was saying is that I have found Sean to be very above board in all of his dealings. I can only go by my experiences and since I have not seen his name dragged through the mud in this scandal until recently, I thought I would chime in and offer my experiences. |
