Dumb question --

Since every pack will be opened and every card will, presumably, be put into a few 660s, will the person/people opening the packs separate variations/SSPs/parallels/autos?

If not, feel free to give my spot up -- hard enough to find these when I know where they'll be within a pack. Seems like it will be a lot tougher if I have to check every card.

I would say they'd be crazy to sort, when opening this volume. You're buying in for a shot at unknown swag really. I'd expect Topps to go big with this since they're spending a ton of money to make it happen.

I would assume they're just ripping to get through it. Maybe they'll sleeve/topload the jerseys, autos and better color. I would be fine with just throwing all the cards into 660s and mailing them off. Best we can hope for in Series 1 is an awesome Kyle Tucker RC color or a nice auto or SSP.

Assume everything is just boxed and shipped ok? Then just be happily surprised with the toploaded autos etc.

They will sleeve and topload big hits - so figure autos and anything crazy (patches, ssp). Basically they have to open 18 cases in 1 day for this event in order to win prizes and swag for the participants (you).

However, these are JUMBO cases so the hit pocket is easy to find. Generally it starts with a gold paper or insert. The inserts and hits are not spread out through the packs - they are in a pocket of hits/inserts.

I think Topps will be filming throughout. If they can, each breaker will probably have a dedicated camera too (like on their own channel). However, assume big hits get posted to twitter in real time at the very least. I mean, it is S1, but there is usually a good auto every case and usually a patch.

Thomas Fish (comicbookjunkie) will be there with at least one additional host (maybe two) plus the overall event is being streamed by Topps.

Great. I had a post all day ready to be posted saying I was in, but never pulled the trigger (I am a very indecisive person, my wife hates it). Maybe by the time you post a new one I will have a decision made.
