He's a tremendous rebounder! If you ever got to watch him in HS, he was a monster on the offensive glass. I bet he averaged 6-8 offensive rebounds a game in HS. And when he gets a defensive rebound, his ability to bring the ball up himself is such a luxury for Denver.

I've also been very impressed with the way he's been finding the open guy lately. He looks better and better in some area or another every single game!

Last 5 games (25.8 minutes per game):

16 ppg
8.8 rpg
2 apg
.8 bpg
1.2 spg
55.77% FG
52.63% 3PT
85.71% FT

His per 36 during that stretch is pretty ridiculous:

22.3 ppg
12.3 rpg
2.8 apg
1.1 bpg
1.7 spg

He's staying healthy and the talent that he never got to show in college is pretty much as advertised. It's great to see.

He looks great out there. High FG percentage and those threes last night didn't touch the rim!
Yes, his defense needs work, but he's off to a great start.

His jump shot is so pure, I can't wait to see him play in the playoffs.

Here's all the stupid teams that passed him up:

Orlando Magics, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks, Phoenix Suns (They had two picks cause they traded picks.), Charlotte Hornets, Los Angeles Clippers (They had two picks in a row. What were they thinking?)

Sacremento, Atalanta, Memphis, and Mavericks picked well

Asking seriously.. Does MPJ have any shot at winning ROTY? Say Ja's second half of the season is less than his first half of the season, and MPJ keeps having a good amount of performances like last night, with not too many off games..

I know it's probably a no but just popped in my head.

I am just glad that he followed me around a bit last year. I refused to sell early and seems like it is paying off a bit.. Hopefully Denver makes a deep push in the playoffs and he continues to contribute more and more. Pulled both of these auto's last year. And have a few other nice parallels

Optic Blue /49. Awesome centering and surface too but as I have stated numerous times on other threads, 'I refuse to grade'. Probably cost me quite a bit in the long run too

The clippers could have taken Shai and MPJ back to back

Doesn't make sense. Thought Cleveland would've picked him up, but no lol.

What's crazy is that Denver is going to be so damn dangerous. Don't forget Bol Bol in denver's back pocket . Denver is going to be one nasty team to deal with

Some of these are scary. Think of the Clippers now with MPJ.

Good to see MPJ healthy and playing well... I have zero cards of his, but hoping he keeps it up!

I could have sworn the Knicks were gonna follow Philly’s footsteps and draft him, tank while he sits, and get another top pick.

Then I remembered how the Knicks are run.

Wow this guy is turning out to be a beast. Huge game last night. Prizms and Optics selling really well and still reasonably priced for his ceiling!

You can’t really blame teams for passing him up. He had a serious injury, and it was possible he was never going to return. At the least, he was looking at being sidelined for two whole years. And he was.

I know people bought his cards like everything was going to be fine, but that wasn’t a given. For me, he would have been a great card gamble if his prices actually ever reflected the uncertainty surrounding him.

I had some buddies that went through similar back surgery and they have the same mobility they had prior and no complications after I would be more worried about a 280 pound basketball player with bad knees lol

Depends when you bought in. If you can make money now, I'd sell part of your stash to sort of hedge your money. I think we see a slow and steady climb in his prices the rest of this season and then a nice spike if he has a big playoff performance at all.

And then I think those that are still on the fence come around and start buying him going into next season.

No stated print run but they seem to be pretty limited from memory. Nice card BTW.
