I was looking to see if there was a thread about the Knicks/Grizz little flare up at the end of the game last night, could find one and came across this one instead.

I am not tech enough to post it, maybe someone else can. But did anyone else notice that right after he got shoved by M. Morris he immediately went and kinda hid behind the bigs? He went in super fast to go after Payton which I liked to see but as soon as Morris shoved him out of the way like a rag doll he was done.

As a Memphian and Grizz fan (who used to have season tickets and now wants them back), this has been absolutely stunning to watch. Rebuilds typically take years, but the front office, for once, has seemingly made the right moves.

Ja does stuff EVERY SINGLE NIGHT that most point guards never, ever do - let alone a rookie. Half the time (like last night's drive into the lane, do a 360 in the air, and kick out to Guduric for the 3) I'm not sure he has a clue what he's doing until the last second. Once the game slows down for him, his ceiling is going to be crazy.

The fact that we're a .500 club at this point, and even in the playoff discussion (let alone actually in the 8 spot right now), is a testament to how good this team can be down the road if we can keep it together.

The first time I watched him play for Murray State I was over-the-top in my praise of him to any of my friends that would listen. The thing I kept coming back to was that based on what I've seen (after many games, mind you) that he seemingly makes everyone on the floor better. Even when he's scoring 20+...he just makes everyone around him better.

That's why I thought he'd be a better pro than Zion. So I'm not at all surprised with what we are seeing thus far, even against much better competition.

And, barring any injuries, the kid is only going to get better. Imagine what he'll be doing in Year 2?

In full disclosure I was very concerned that what I saw in college was just a better player destroying inferior competition, and I was on the fence on whether we'd be better off with him or keeping Conley and taking RJ Barrett.

I was clearly very, very wrong.

Thanks for the welcome! I’m a 38 year old who collected basketball up until my high school days. Die hard Jordan fan so a lot of my stuff is MJ. Tons of Magic, Larry, Shaq, Penny etc. Stopped collecting right around when grading became a thing. A few of my buddies pulled me back in a few months ago and Prizm has been my drug ever since. I’m looking forward to making new friends who have a passion for card collecting!

I had to pick one up after seeing what the photo variations are going for with baseball cards. I don't know if that will carry over to basketball but it wouldn't surprise me.
