Default help with e bay purchase advise

Hey All. Purchased a limited production relic card from the bay. Seller listed as brand new but arrived with less then stellar packaging and the card has chipping. Seller has high rating. Any thoughts on what to do? Thanks.

OP, every single card I open especially relics have white/chipping some form of issue. So there's that.

As stated by others, if you're unhappy with the card, return it for a refund. This seems like a clear cut INAD (item not as described) case.

OP - was there a picture of the card on ebay? And assuming there was, does it look like the same card in the photo? these cards are rarely in perfect condition. this is where grading comes in handy, but still, a graded card is not "brand new" bc it's not sealed in its original wax packaging. details such as photos and a price would help move this discussion along further.

Wow! What a great community. The card was ungraded and the photo did not depict how the card arrived. I'm in communication with the seller and it should probably be returned. We'll see. Too bad as better packaging would have made a difference. Thank you to each of you for responding to my posting. Have an enjoyable and safe day tomorrow.
