Looks like there are auto versions too.

Yep. They're pretty sweet. And not exclusive to Target. All blasters have them.

The relics/patch/medallions are nice this release...Global Game Medallions and Sleeve Patches are much better than prior Flagship relics, imo.

Indeed. Definitely inspired choices all around this season. Even if they are still a bit of a cop out. Especially like with that Trout - would def prefer to snag that over a game used napkin piece from a veteran or rookie that doesn't amount to anything.

Just snapped up a 1985 Bo Bichette black auto #/199 for $130.

My gut says that's a pretty good price given what last year's hot rookies ended up selling for.....

Is retail worth it this year?

That’s a really nice card. I love the 85 design so that’s part of it but the black parallels are always nice to look at.

Like previous years, it looks like hanger boxes are the ones to nab again. Seems even moreso this year with their odds.

That’s the black paper auto? Beautiful cards but so touchy on the corners/ edges! I have a lot of them from 18 and so few are mint (1983’s)
For this release I personally won’t be buying anything other than parallels - unless they have those gorgeous Reverence patch autos again maybe.....Series 1 RC guys have too many cards throughout the calendar year for me to be spending good $ on early insert stuff.
Not pooping on your buy at all as I really like those cards.

There isn’t a set date - it is starting to trickle out and by this weekend you should see it in many places.

Is it weird that the Vlad heritage action shot is being used for cards in S1? Is that a thing they do? Take an image that’s a “SP” and print a bunch of it on cards the next year?

Was sitting watching tv and casually opening the first box of a hobby case. I handed my wife a pack the she opens, then asks if I've gotten anything good because she found this in hers.

You must hand her a pack to open out of every case from this day forward.

Got a couple hobby boxes, nothing great to post in Box Breaks.

- Will Smith auto (sticker)
- Eddie Murray /10 Red - Decades Best (almost missed it, as it's plain looking)
- Yelich League Leader /76
- '85 Yount relic
- 4 gold / 4 rainbow foil / 1 advanced stats - no one of note
- Gerrit Cole variation (bad photoshop in Yankees uni)
- Silver Packs - Lux
- Base RC: 3x - Yordan; 2x - Lux, Aquino

I have watched 24 cases and only saw that card come out just once.
