hangers ftw it looks like to me
the manu relics in the blasters are a big improvement this year but still not enough for me to consider giving up the odds on the parallels and sps
If I had to guess Id say in retail
Hangers
Fat Packs
24 ct retail
gravity feed
blasters
in that order-ish

This whole design is some planned parenthood type abortion.

Hopefully the inserts of the 80’s topps rookie autos ( non sticker ?) will save this thing.

Not even digging that horizontal card and I want to like the product.

The $14.99 Walmart 75-card tins look interesting too. Already sold out of course...

The parallels are really underwhelming this year.

Why hangers (other than meijers/Walgreens) over fat packs, out of curiosity?

I personally love watching the eBay life cycle of cards like the SP Garrett Cole in a Yankees uniform. People were buying that card yesterday for $30+ dlvd. BINs are slowly going down but now theres a guy you can buy 10x of them from for $3 each. All in 24hrs. This is my kind of entertainment!

I haven’t seen fatpack odds but assume they’ll be roughly half of a hanger so they will probably be similar per dollar spent. Similar to everything other than blasters I’d assume. It appears Topps has jacked the blaster odds up to a point that you’d need to be a fan of the manu relic cards (or hit a nice one) in order for the odds difference to be negligible IMO. Could easily be wrong and when a chart is made we’ll know for sure.

It basically looks like Topps took a gold parallel and made it rainbow foil stock, ie, the side bar with the player name, team, and team logo is gold.

I was hoping that the gold foils, would actually be gold. Letdown.

Gotcha. So a matter of preference, although fat packs are more susceptible to getting thumbed, but if you can find them fresh and like me, you enjoy prolonged ripping, fat packs are the top option. Just had to double check I’m not missing something. Thanks!

Opened 1 Hobby and 1 Jumbo
2 Bichettes
2 Yordans
Bichette and Yordan 1985 inserts
Yordan 1956 Topps Black /299
Verlander and Yelich variations
bunch of golds and foils of nobodies
Vintage Stock of some nobody pitcher for Indians
Auto of 1985 Dylan Cease
Patches of Verlander, Amed Rosario and Dejong.
Turkey boxloader of Miguel Cabrera
nothing good from the 3 silver packs.

I guess all the good cards went to the 1M card break.

yrocks2001, thanks for the info. I realized that I did not pull any Rainbow Foils in my 1st 2 jumbo cases. I am on my 3rd right and now and have hit 2 in the 1st 2 boxes. It was driving me nuts not being able to tell the difference b/w the gold foil and the rainbow foil. Well I have lots of gold foil. Anybody else have this happen?

all of my foils were Indian pitchers, Astros, or team cards. I don't care to know which is which.

Is the Gerrit Cole SP more common than the normal SP's? I pulled 2 in my hobby case and 1 in my jumbo
