If epack cards disappeared entirely from COMC, I would not be dissapointed

Usually the cards I buy are PC, I'd say at least 90%.

I did finally receive my cards yesterday. They were actually shipped Priority Mail 2 Day and I only paid $8.99 for Economy. I'm guessing COMC did this since they were late to ship out?

I've always sent my better cards in toploaders, but now they are going to charge $.50/card additional if you want to protect your cards in the mail? If there goal is to get more higher end cards submitted, this is a deterrant, no? I doubt I'll be sending in $100+ cards raw or just in penny sleeves.

Did they weigh over 1 pound?

This sucks. I have boxes of cards that I was thinking of sending in but now with the way processing is going plus the rate increase, I might go a different avenue to move them. Not sure what this company is thinking as people are frustrated and I know a few good sellers on the site who have moved on.

Wouldn't you be submitting those cards for a premium submission anyways? You would have to pay the 50 cent upgrade fee to list them for more than $50 in the first place.

Or they had a declared value over a certain amount that they wanted it shipped priority with some amount of insurance.

Default Vintage commons

Won't this pretty well kill the market for vintage commons, such as 1971 Topps baseball? 50 cents plus postage to submit, plus the 25 cent built in shipping fee, plus a small profit for the seller. Why would anyone pay a buck for a mid range 1971 common? You can buy them in bulk for 10 cents each. The 1971 hi number prices are jacked up so high on COMC already, and adding another 15 cents to the submission cost will only make it worse.

Wasn't the original appeal of COMC and the thing that made it popular was being able to buy cheap commons and inserts for your sets? Those days are gone.

I think the issue with vintage is that the majority of them need to be assigned to a different grade bucket [Good to VG-EX] or [EX to NM], which costs them time (and therefore money) at a much higher rate than the dinged up modern cards.
I am not thrilled with the price increase, but it's one way they throttle cards from getting submitted that will never sell. If you look at the majority of cards in the 1975 Topps Mini set, they have like 20 cards for sale and only 5 have ever been taken off site. They don't need any more of the majority of vintage Topps cards submitted, since they're already swimming in them.

It says you have until next Saturday to ship out using old rates.

Not the best timing after the stock market correction last week to announce these changes. Seems a lot of people have already been losing faith in the company and this certainly doesn't help.

You can't protect the cards from their employees dropping them.

This makes cards already submitted/on site worth a little more. This will definitely keep me from sending in more cards and I'll probably just spend more time flipping cards. The 24-hour notice is absolutely ridiculous.

This is the second year in a row where I had reinvested myself at COMC and really built up a strong port only to have them do something that made me rethink that decision. I

I had given up looking for decoys. So sick of cutting them myself from boxes, just absolutely sick of it. Your decoys are kinda expensive, but it may just be worth it to me. Thanks dude.

I'm actually lowering the prices across the board! Ha! They include free shipping, so I have to figure that into the price as well.

I'm a little bit lost in translation. If I start a new submission before March 4 it will count like the old services?

Yes, as long as you use the correct submission wizard selections and postmark by March 7th, according to their rules.

Two people? Does Julia have a new partner? God knows Tim isn't calling the shots there, anymore.

Not sure of the actual weight but I had 100 cards shipped and they sent me a full 200 count box all sleeved.

You and a ton of others I would assume. This will create a huge backlog I'm sure with more delays.

They will be put in under the current times which for many sellers are running late already. I still have nothing from my sub that was due on the 13th of february. Day was pushed back to the 12th this morning as an expected date. It goes back every couple of days.

Do cards need to be postmarked BEFORE 3/1 (today, Sunday) to avoid the new enhanced fees? Sorry I missed that part, appreciate if someone can clarify
