Great stuff Skip!

One of my favorite baseball quotes of all time is about Cool Papa Bell:
"Cool Papa Bell was so fast he could get out of bed, turn out the lights across the room and be back in bed under the covers before the lights went out." - Josh Gibson

When looking up that exact quote I came across another gem:
"Once he hit a line drive right past my ear. I turned around and saw the ball hit his ass sliding into second." - Satchel Paige

Great stuff Skip!

No Cy Young for me jarod; but he's definitely near the top of the short list of my biggest (halfway) realistic autos.

Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, and Cy Young are probably the big 3 of my remaining "dream" autos; in that order. (since I do have Mr. Ruth already).

It's hard to argue with that list, no doubt. I'm going to start looking for a Ruth again soon, let me know if you come across one that I won't be able to resist.

...I agree with Jarod, hard to argue with the list. I am also going to add one more of the original 5 at The National this year. I have Wagner and Johnson so it will either be Young, Cobb, or Ruth. Though I could possibly go after Mathewson or Gehrig instead. But definitely getting one of them.

And awesome Cy Young Mike!

My two prized baseballs, the Mick was given to me by my Dad for my last birthday and I saved up for the Sandy last year as well.

skip,

Surprisingly, iPhone pics.....just under right light. Cropped and +3-4 on contrast to crisp it up.

Some people don't do cards the justice they deserve with their pics/scans.....
I hear there's an incredible scanner, especially for slabbed items (V600)

That’s even more astonishing. What iphone?

Mike will be happy to hear I have finally broken down and ordered a new scanner. I almost bought the V600, but actually went with the V370.

This is hysterical. I’ve also kept my iphone 8 for the same reason! I got my wife a 10 and I hate that it doesn’t have a home button.

Paging JMSCOGGIN!
We are on our final HOFer alphabetically, though we technically should officially do the ones that were elected since we began and give them their official due. So, here’s our next one...

He was the last active player to be a teammate of Hank Aaron. Had more hits in the 1980s than any other player...
