Unfortunately, it seems to be the native sizing of what these companies make their print pages -- I am also a collector of old T shirts and happen to sell on etsy/depop --- along side of ebay and paypal, they all force their label pages to take the entire page. Idk why you can't just have an option to download a label 4x6 so printing would be easier... maybe in the future.

I have a Brother one and I think it was half off on Black Friday. No brainer. No ink to buy, no tape, tracking number uploads immediately. Even if you are a small seller like me, it is worth it. I used to be a whiz on the USPS kiosk and then it changed and it took way longer when it worked, not to mention waiting. I can drop and go now.

Can you print smaller labels off of the Dymo 4XL or is it just the large shipping labels?

For example, if I wanted to print something smaller to label some of the shelves in my safe could I do that?

The description says it includes 220 labels (one roll), estimated ship weight is only .5 lb. I'd assume it's just the paper. Hope for your sake it isn't though.

You can print smaller labels in two ways.

1st: buy smaller labels and then select the correct stock number/size.

2nd: leave it on the 4x6 stock size and hit the "custom" button above the "print" button. change it to 80 vs 100. then print and cut off the excess. this option seems difficult, but super easy.

You can press and hold the button on the front to reset the feeder and spit out any offset labels. You can also flip the lid and press and hold that little button on the right and spit it out in reverse.

Thank you for this. Rolling the dice as it's definitely worth rolling the dice for a back up!

Lots of pro tips here, thanks amex.

Looking forward to putting this in play... whenever it's safe to sell again.

Don’t bother I just went to pick mine up and they are labels. I argued with them for 10 minutes. The listing clearly says printer but they weren’t hearing it.

Too late. Guess I'll be getting exchanging it for a Heritage box. Had to try. My wife was on Amazon one day and they had nice 12 piece set of outdoor furniture for .01. Delivered. I mean the glass table, umbrella, chairs, bench, the whole 9 yards. She ordered it, thinking what the heck. 2 days later it arrived. Found out later that the seller was paid insurance on a dropped/damaged container (not everything in it was damaged though) and either they or the insurance company legally had to blow them out. Looked a week later and found that exact same set listed for $2499.99. Makes the grilling and beer taste a little better each time we are out there!

Yep. Same for the Target here in NC. Lady was rude. Showed her the picture and everything. Cancelled my orders.

No problem! At least the down period gives you time to get it set up, tinker with it and get the kinks out.

I know. And would put up 1 solid defense myself, but wouldn't get too worked up about it. It clearly was a mistake.

If Target advertised 18 Update at $1 per hanger and when you got there, they offered you an empty wrapper, would that not be annoying?

1st of all "an empty wrapper"? But I get your point. And most definitely. But if we are playing the what if game.

What if you bought $5 in cards and handed them a $20. The cashier handed you $95 back in change mistakenly thinking you gave her a hundred. Would you walk out with the extra $80?

No. This happens to me in one form or another at least five times every spring.
