He bought it and paid with note for shipping, one he purchased was a Pete Alonso base RC $5, he apparently thought it was a variation when it clearly said base, I canceled and gave him a little crap for being an idiot. He's already showed up on other people's block lists

Took about 5 minutes for ebay to say it qualifies for removal as well, hoping it's a strike against his account but there's no real category for "misusing feedback system"

Why get into those email battles with a buyer? Just cancel and move on. Would have saved you the time of having to call Ebay and have the neg removed. Why would you want a buyer that you have had issues with before you ship actually paying(if they have not) and getting the item? That gives them a bigger chance to screw you in the end. It sucks that sellers still taking Paypal are not refunded the fees but its part of selling online.

Yeah I don’t see why that turned into anything. It’s a $5 card and the buyer said they made a simple mistake. I would’ve said “no problem” and just cancelled the transaction.

I've sold several items to this guy with no issues. He also sends the exact word for word initial message every time. Different issue, but I don't believe they are 'gifts' I think he is selling them somewhere else and using you to drop ship. My point calling this out is that the name and city you listed is likely someone who is not involved. All my sales to him have gone to different people in different cities.
