Because what globalism is sold as isn't what it's actually all about. It's sold as a public idea of us coming together for the betterment of us all, while underneath it's just a push to centralize power at the top.

It's always like this with the left. There's always something underneath the shown level of righteousness and justness. Marginalized groups want to be treated equally? Nothing wrong with that at all. But then it switched to special rights. Being protected. Kaepernick wanted police held accountable? Nothing wrong with that. Police overstep their bounds too often. The longer it unfolded, the more we saw it was about how the entire fabric of America was wrong.

Your posts most definitely come from an emotional place. It's about the tone, not so much the words themselves.

I would say that the pushback against the globalist view IS acknowledging the rest of the world, and different perspectives. I already touched on that. Leave us be as a country. Leave other countries to lead as they see fit. If there's a serious problem where we can help, that's different. But as Americans, we come first to the American government. To Spain, the Spanish come first to the Spanish government. So on and so forth. Everyone is different. Political policies are different. So let them be different to meet the specific needs of that country's people.

She's right. This is an opportunity to change things and we should take advantage of it. People shouldn't be working 70 hours a week to make ends meet.

If you think I'm being emotional, it's not because your political beliefs, I just think someone should give a damn about logic and reasoning, and being able to intelligently defend one's beliefs. Words still matter here. Everything you just said is foolishness, jingoism, and since you like easy words, garbage.

You've been "sold" a picture of "globalism" as a cartoon, an exaggeration of reality by those who oppose it the most. You have no education about it further than that. It's the same as the science conversation, you simply don't understand even the basic concepts at play. But like science, if your source is bad, your results are bad. Be honest, how much international travel have you done? How many marginalized communities outside of your own have you spent any significant amount of time in? Talk to any community leaders about their perspective on the world? I'm not a world traveler by any means, but I've been across the country and the world with my movie the last couple of years and I've seen enough of how things do and don't work elsewhere to know that it sure isn't the caricature you think it is.

Oh, and dude what?!?!? A push to centralize power at the top? Your boy Trump very literally and clearly said when somebody is the president of the United States, their "authority is total." That thing! The very thing you decry the MOST in your position, the president just DID! Right in front of your face! And you take it like a champ, because he's been selling you snake oil so long you think it's olive oil! Remember what I said: accuse those of doing that which you are guilty? He's the BEST at it. And if you're too blind to see it, to ignorant to question it, and your critical thinking skills are this damn broken, then I just don't know what to tell you.
