Just saw Sophia Chang answer up about possibility of offering artist signature versions of the card, on her Intagram live (nice question Aarchangel!)
Basically, her answer was "I don't know yet" lol
She says she needs to do a bit more research as to HOW she will do it, but she seemed positive to the idea in general, saying she'll be "happy to sign them".

Correction to this. The card was an artist's proof of Vides Henderson (but it wasn't advertised that way in the header). It went for $350.

Still, a regular henderson sold for $130+, which is amazing.

Yes, I don't think she even thought of it. She said she'd sign them for like $5. I thought that was kind of funny.

Sent her an email suggesting that she buy a few up, and do what some of the other artists have been doing and sign 20 of them and put them up for sale on her own website.

I wonder if print runs will be inflated slightly by people that would normally get a slightly cheaper one on eBay but are now worried about sellers not honoring their order.

I rather order direct. Better chances of the gold framed. If you buy from ebay and they get the gold, they will send you the base and keep the gold

Not much better chance, but definitely a valid point.

I also like to order direct to support the artists and encourage Topps to do more stuff like this (as corny as that probably sounds).

Guessing Golds go to buyers who order a significant amount. The 1-5 buyers didn't stand a chance.... I could be wrong. I haven't kept up on who is getting them. I know Jake got the Ermsy Trout...he said he ordered quite a few. Recently saw brentandbecca got one as well.
