Yep. I've seen several instances where people have bought the 5-10 packs and got a gold. And one guy got a gold w/ only buying 1 card. Yes the odds are in the favor of the person buying more than 1 (as mathematically they are) but its not a given by any means.

Also the first ones they ship will be the ones with poor centering, any flaws, etc. no way to verify the package hasn't been opened. But... it is an art project, maybe the flawed ones will be the ultra rares and command a higher price

It won't hit 35k, but I agree that it will be 8k min. I will even put the over under at 14k

I take the under on that bet. I wouldn't be surprised if it had trouble cracking 10k.

I think the Mr. Cartoon Brett and the JK5 Mays are next for the big rise (particularly if those artists release a hot card this week).

I think it's a very polarizing design but even at that (with all the recent press and hype)...I think it's a 12k pr.

I don't know if a strong player alone will pull 10k PRs. Look at the Grotesk Jeter, for example. Lowest Jeter to date, by far. I don't think the Fucci Trout has broad enough appeal to hit 5 figures.

I know I originally said 14k as the over under, but you have now reset it at 10k. I will take over 12k as a bet for one Fucci Trout card.

CardFarmer are you in?

Pretty shocking. Wasn't a big fan of that one, but good to see!

Nice. Once ermsy, baller or Blake drop Jeter the others will too.

I think there are a lot of print runs from the first 50 that have a ton of potential as the set moves on. This is quite a unique project that I don't see losing steam any time soon.

That said, the latest Jeter moving right now absolutely shocks me. I know it's the lowest printed Jeter but come on… You could've bought it this morning for $17 on eBay. I think you're seeing a bunch of flippers buying stuff up and hoping to drive scarcity. This can only last so long unless there are truly LOTS of new people jumping into the set.

And with that thought, what say the ones that are printed under 2,500 of the early series don't absolutely skyrocket as new eyes with deep pockets see the beauty of it all. I think that's what's happening… But I don't fully understand why the Jeter is so quick to jump at this clip so early on. Just thinking as I type here.

Not everyone is listing theirs on eBay, makes everything seem scarce. There are 2,900 Trout Ermsy but how many total are listed on eBay. Everyone is trying to outsmart the next combined with people who legitimately want to build the set and buy into the I need this right now or I'll have to pay $50 more in two days (or half an hour in some cases). I never thought this would be successful the way it has been. But now I'm bought in as are others.

... also just thinking as I type. there is definitely room to grow and it's not limited to only the first 50 cards.

Don't get me wrong... I'm just saying I see huge potential with early issues and can't fathom huge potential with current issues that are still being released but I have definitely been wrong before LOL...

The Jeter is not coming back down... it will probably end up being the shortest printed Jeter in the set based on what this one alone has done.

Never thought I'd pay $89 for a Doc Gooden card. Ugh.
