Hey everyone, Im semi-new to the Topps Series 1 and 2 higher-end card market, and was curious about the long term value of the parallels.
Specifically, the black parallels are consistently some of the higher selling ones. Is this parallel the 'cream of the crop' in terms of the most sought-after parallels long term? Just looking for any input if I wanted to pick up a higher end rookie. Thanks again, and hope everyone is well. |

IMHO black border parallel is the only consistent parallel next to gold. So the market looks to these 2 over most other options. Advance stats and Vintage logo front don’t get as much love. But that is my speculation.

It’s ever evolving... black and gold has long term love, but I’ve been shocked at the increased interest in clear, Memorial Day, and Independence Day over this last year. Mother/father seem to be a step behind (but not all the way down to Vintage Stock)
The real undervalued one was (as they didn’t do it this year) the black and white negative (not numbered, but print run of 50) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
