Oh, and I'm also making custom display cases that each hold 20 cards. It's going to take a while to make the cases though, I had to order black velour for the background, 1/8" lexan for the display front and I decided to hold the lexan to the case with 1/4 inch neodymium magnets instead of hinges for a cleaner look. I will post pictures when I get the first one done.
Cool, looking forward to those pics. Trying to figure out how I'll display mine.

I cannot imagine another Trout PR below 10k. This 16k this week may be the low end of average.

If 3000 Trout fans or 3000 Ermsy fans or a combination want to put the set together then that will be a tough card to have. I realize it isn't the lowest Ermsy card, but take out 2500 Trout collectors putting them in their sets and your left with 411 for the Ermsy collectors. I am not a Trout PC guy, but I may be doing the Ermsy set. If I didn't get in on the Trout early I would probably scrap that plan.

Baller has a Henderson dropping this week.
Ermsy might have a Griffey this week also.
If the first Don C card drops also it could be a BIG week!

Ruth's first Topps card... 1951 Topps Connie Mack All Stars. Would be hard with the tall format.
1961 Topps 60th HR Ruth maybe...

But could go the Non-sport route
1951 Topps Look N' See
OR
1952 Topps Scoops...

Trout by Ben Baller printed 35K copies, and still selling for around $25 on ebay, granted that this is the "pre-sell" period and after the cards arrive in people's hands, flooded listing can lead to cheaper prices.

Y'all really think this card will catapult to 1k? Theres 7 auctions ending tonight. I'm watching them and will report at end of night where they ended.

Well not tonight, no. I would imagine we are a couple of weeks away from seeing another healthy increase on this card again but once they all clear out, you'll start to see them creep up. I would love to be wrong in the fact that I don't see these going down much more before they go back up. If they do go back down in the $350-400 range… I'll be scooping some up for sure.

The faceless Trout that printed more than five times the Ermsy card has me doing a lot of thinking today. And seeing as this project doesn't appear to be losing any interest whatsoever, I have to believe that based on the track record of this set thus far... the Ermsy Trout is a steal at this point compared to where it's going.

I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong many times again… But that's my gut feeling on it right now.

Totally agree, won't be my last time I'm wrong either. It will be interesting with a bunch ending tonight on ebay.

Been trying to keep up on here, be a little more involved other than my buying and selling on eBay, finally decided to chime in.

I agree on the Ruths, none iconic to Baseball Collectors, only the affordable alternatives for those who can't afford Goudey or other originals. Relative to their respective Non-Sports sets, the Ruths do stand out.

As for the "Iconic Card" spectrum, I don't see how 1987 McGwire got status. I'm guessing that they wanted this set in particular to be represented, but probably not most "Iconic" of 1987. Bonds/Canseco too much controversy and individuals? Maddux, close to Big Mac, but Chicks dig the Long Ball. Other players that may also compete already have cards (Ryan/Ripken/Gwynn), but seems they like early/rookie cards. Bo Jackson Future Stars would get my vote, despite my Oakland Bash Brother fandom as a child.

Yeah people who thought they could cash in on that one are in for a rude awakening. 35k is ridiculous, even for Trout. It's a nice design though & good business for Baller.

You've said it best. The winner here is Baller. 35k print run card is gonna be hard to move. And those gloves better have a sparky look to them like 2011 update diamond. If the gloves are printed and look flat, then big Baller wins tremendously by doing some good photoshop on the gloves to make them look sparkly.

Per the artist, his Frank Thomas is going to drop prior to the Clemente. This should be a Monday drop as Thomas is the only player left with only 2 cards.

Guessing he didn’t buy QTY for those. Hmmm I’ve got QTY on his Jeter left that’s coming. About 60. Maybe a little more. Not enough to fill all those auto tiers but enough he could do damage. I’d give him a good price. Tell him to hit me up if he’s interested.
