Never thought I'd pay $100+ for a card that is basically a picture of a card with a photoshopped frame around it but here we are.

Yep the mattingly and Nolan have close to same print run

Both running over 100

Now you can see cal Ripken beck is close to those print run also

There have been like 20 of those sell today starting to push up

This set is great and innovative. Props to Topps for the concept.

They could have gone over the top if they made the following effects available to the artists (similar to the Vides).

Baller: Add some shine/shimmer to part of the card
Oldmanalan: Make it more of a matte finish
Chang: Add glitter (as ppl have said, it's like a 90's girl trapper keeper)
Matt Taylor: Glow in the dark
EfDot: Stained glass effect (at least for the McGwire)

Of course, it would 100% be up to the artists.

This is my fear for the Trout Baller, that its gonna look flat with no shine or sparkle

Trout 35 by Thiele is creeping slightly. Also Jeter Saladeen 29 and especially Jeter Taylor 39 seen wayyyy too low. I know the PR is high by today’s standard but once a Jeter gets a few more drops those PRs might not seem high any longer.

With that being said, Jeter's Grotesk is the buy. Almost LOCKED to be low PR

I have to agree, I don't need some of these. Don't care how high they go...very fun set to collect. I missed out on the early ones as most I thought were ugly but after seeing the individual artist's vision I am all in on some. If Topps had of shown all of an artist line up front, I wouldn't have missed out on some....but the framing ones do nothing for me (except for maybe the Koufax)...that I of course didn't buy.
