No idea what you're referring to by trending price and how eBay calculates that. But if I remember right it was 140 starting bid so 148 shipped no bids granted before tax. I've seen enough of these broken that at 2.5x MSRP these are a loser although the floor on ROI is higher than most other retail wax (rip in bulk and grade may be different but these cards seem like a really tough grade to me with lines and surface issues everywhere on what I've gotten in hand) and people keep saying on here that's the best format. No idea if it will drop in price or not, but clearly mosaic has been trending down in price on singles and maybe that's impacting wax a bit. You're obviously not losing if you get in at MSRP though

I would bet on you being right actually, but I'm not betting my money on it to actually buy in bulk at 2.5x msrp on megas and 3-4x msrp on other formats. I got in at 2x msrp at release and ripped a bit just for fun. I think a crash is coming on mosaic singles and the wax will follow. It's not an established product (in fact the history of it is established as a trash product from prizm mosaic days) and I'm betting chronicles will make people forget mosaic real quick

I dont care about history really... If these all came out for the first time right now... This would be my preference

1. Mosaic
2. Prizm
3. Optic

I 100% agree. Mosaic is amazing this year. I believe singles will drop a little but sealed wax prices will increase a little. Hobby boxes this year are pricey. Huge hits are coming from Mosaic retail and more people can afford them.

Okay. someone out there please explain why anyone would want to buy empty boxes of the Mosaic? I see some are selling for roughly $15-25 bucks. Not sure what the appeal would be, but maybe someone in this forum would understand. I usually throw my boxes away when I'm done with them.

They probably need them for damaged card replacements.

Considering how many repacked Prizm boxes we found on the shelves in December, wouldn’t be surprised if that was another reason besides Messier2’s

What are the odds of finding any more of this stuff this week? Is there even hope out there or are they all gone and done?

If it's like the other products, I could see stores getting a box or two here and there but the big push of product is over.

Big push hasn’t hit targets in Most of California yet, but yeah for Walmart’s you either hit on Friday or Saturday with only a few that haven’t been stocked

Has anyone seen Mosaic released in Targets in NC? They restocked Walmarts in my area last Friday but I haven't seen any at all in any Targets...not even empty shelves.

It would not surprise me at all if someone in the online department has their own network to profit from these when they go up for sale online. Think about it. If something sells out that fast repeatedly, you are going to wonder why and look into it. I sure would if I sold something online that sold out as soon as it was up and also had millions of website hits. This all goes back to panini needing a better distribution model. This product is going to hit the hands of maybe 3 to 5% of the market that wants it.

I was perusing sold listings last night and I kept seeing "trending at" I just assumed that it was an ebay algorithm that averages out sales price, but then after reading your initial comment it got me thinking that if they average the price based on keywords, someone selling a mega and a blaster would inflate the average "mega" sales price.

It could also be a matter of them being released in waves. First wave sold out, they ordered more, and now they're either still waiting on delivery (which is less likely) or they're waiting to drop them on the site. Then again, for all we know, Target probably sold them all to ToyWiz.
