I hear ya man. I have been reading this board and collecting modern cards and even wax as a hobby for the past ten years, and have never seen it like this.

Every new release is the best product ever at this point. Prizm has been the most popular for years now and even Optic has caught on, but people are now losing their minds over blasters of Mosaic and Chronicles.

I have been looking off and on for 2 weeks in the Los Angeles area.

Zero luck.

This morning (after seeing all the activity on the board) hit up a Target and found 2 blasters randomly spread out in different parts of the card section. Have no idea if the person who was there before me was too busy rushing to clean out every store in the area and missed them or was trying to pay it forward, but happy I finally found some product in the wild to open.

Not going to try to guilt people into leaving product for others (since we are all adults and can do whatever we want), but did want to let the forum know that I appreciate finally finding something after all of this time and I will be enjoying them with my kids.

I found it by total accident this morning. I was stopping in to grab some toothpaste and a few essentials.

I always check out the card section at our Wal Mart, which is usually pretty empty. They had a bunch of Contenders NFL Draft too--left that for the kids as well.

Unfortunately, most of the blasters were pretty smashed up (I left probably 10 of those for the kids), Left 2 hangers as well. there were no cellos.

Basically, if you can't beat them, join them with this basketball frenzy. It's like printing money right now. I never even got a sniff of Optic

The reps really unloaded their stock today. Seems like way more on the shelves in huge lots than the first week they were out.

Heres my theory: after this week there will be no more restocks. I feel mj and excell are unloading massive amounts on the shelves because their distribution time has been cut short by Covid. Theres a lot of product where we know printing was delayed so now that everyone is starting to get back up and running, there will be a rush to move product. Kind of reminds me of when 2018 bowman megas were released. We saw one wave of like 42 blasters (full end caps display) then we never saw a big wave again. I think they are trying to move as much product as possible as soon as possible. At a lot higher rate than they traditionally do. Who knows.

Yeah, I think Target requires masks. Walmart suggests it. I braved it into Walmart once last week and saw immediately saw a group of 3 people all with no masks and 1 person coughing. I turned around and left.

Masks are required at all Targets and Wallys around me. Really surprised if it's truly only suggested at yours.

Score target 9 blaster excell wouldn’t sell me the rest maybe 3-4 cause she needed to take a photo and I needed to go also scored a bowman gravity box. Yakima wa .

Some targets are getting blaster restocked with bowman.

I haven't found any Mosaic yet. I didn't have any issues finding Optic or Prizm, but haven't seen anything except an empty space for Mosaic.

I (wrongfully) assumed that retail releases would be easier to get during the pandemic with people only making essential trips to the store. But it's had the opposite effect and people are working from home or not working so they have more time to stalk the stores.
