At the very least, it is nice to see this flood of probably the main wave of the retail product hit at once, has definitely helped prices for those of us that can't/aren't looking for it in stores. |

Tried a walmart on this crap rainy day. Rep stocking. She said guys came in and wiped out 4 trays before she even stocked the shelves.

For anyone wondering if you should bust or sell sealed here is my experience with the last go around. This DOES NOT take into account if you want to hold long term. All current eBay sealed prices.
18 Hangers at 50 per = 900 13 Blasters at 50 per = 650 10 Cello at 25 per = 250 4 Mega at 150 per = 600 Grand total 2400(have to pay fees etc), paid 980 with tax. I open everything, sell singles and keep what I want to. So far this is what I have: 915 in open offers 1310 sold Grand total of 2225(have to pay fees etc). That 2225 is for 30 cards. Given, they are a lot of better ones but I did keep back what I wanted to keep. I'd say my break was right around average from the breaks posted. I still have hundreds and hundreds of rookies, inserts, parallels of all the above as well. I'd say at least 1k worth of cards plus the few I keep. Point of the post is, any retail basketball this is year, at MSRP....is TOTALLY worth opening. I came out even better from Optic(1 big big hit). Totally missed anything before that. Fun year to be involved in cards. Not many years I can remember opening cards to instantly make money and keep what I want. Probably has never happened(to me) beyond maybe the old days of opening BC baseball cases. |

Lucky duck. I'm super happy finding what I did BUT I'd be more than happy to open any and everything I find. The ONLY wax I'd even consider selling is blasters. I've opened 18 so far and have got absolutely crushed when compared to any of the other SKU's. Congrats again and have fun!

I know everyone likes a good MJ rep story... Here's mine this morning.
Saw rep stocking and went up to her and asked if she had any basketball cards. She goes over to box and pulls out a wrapped Mosaic display and tells me "you can have two" I say why just two? She says those are the rules. I'm not going to argue over basketball cards so I just say ok thanks. She gives me two blasters and two hangers. I asked if she had any big boxes and she then goes back in the box grabs one mega and gives it to me. She was not nice but again I just say thanks. I check out and go put it in my car. Go back in because I needed other things. I see her leaving so I go back over there... and she did not stock any of the Mosaic! Shady. Anyways I do buy the 5 Bowmans she put out as well. But I guess she either had someone else coming to get the rest or was taking it herself. |

cant stand these rude people . one of my wal marts had 3 empty displays . I have had no luck with wal mart at all . scored at target a couple of times . theres gotta be someone with the hookup as far as the wal marts go around here . hit up target twice this week on re stock day and absolutely no sign of any kind of re stock . excel guy getting lazy ? who knows . its always hit or miss . like I said I scored on retail twice at target. I got my hobby boxes and fast break boxes yesterday . I have 3 cello boxes coming . I already scored on bowman retail . so im going to take a break from the retail hunt . it gets very sickening to go and leave empty handed . |

Found a full display today. Left 2 Megas, 3 Hangers and 5 cellos. Also left the Mosaic display boxes so people rushing there at least know it’s already been put out lol

It’s annoying. You can’t even find a box just a box. The new norm.

Flippers. Not good for the hobby in the long run.
