I grabbed 2 of the companion card. Are thoughts that it will be related to all 20 of his cards or just the Yankees players since it talks about the Bronx and was released in conjunction with Rivera?

That Mattingly

Really excited to see his future releases even more now. He did a great job on Clemente and I thought he phoned it in on Brett, Gooden and Jackie...not much added detail... really enjoy seeing more of his artistic style back with Mattingly. Hope it continues.

Just do some photoshop, print it on a thick card stock, slap it in plastic with a sticker. Do it in the next couple months.. proven fact so far a bunch of guys on this thread will buy anything.

JK5 Companion cards gone. Ended up picking up a JK5 red auto, which also comes with a companion card - I assume the same one that just sold out.

I think they all can, I believe Topps gave each of them a number of cards they can have made for themselves

yup, and as more and more of the newer cards get in hand there will only be more dilution. From here on out i am buying what i like at retail only with the intent to keep forever.

I agree with this. Clemente was excellent. Brett, Gooden, Jackie were just ok. Mattingly was lights out - asthetically top 10 in the set so far for me.
