i think the streak ends this year though

I don't know either of yall but I feel similarly.

I want Mega boxes as much as anyone else but those with bots figured it out and we haven't.

It's not Target's fault - or responsibility - unless they choose to make it their concern.

There's no real blame to throw. But if you want to be mad, it should be aimed at bot users. But what good will that do?

Maybe someone should make a "feelings" about Mega availability thread. I wish this one was limited to actual sightings and restocks.

Love all the talk about bots. Do any of you understand how they actually work to begin with?

Do you also realize that target has put a limit on the website of only allowing 5 to be ordered at a time?

That means if Target was to release say 1000 boxes to the website, it would take 200 orders to eat those up. Meaning for it to be available for a few seconds, there would have to be a couple hundred bots out there trying to buy it at the same time. Possible but not likely. If they released 10000 boxes it would be more like 2000 orders. Their servers likely can't handle 2000 orders in a few seconds, so it certainly would stay available for at least a few minutes. Might not be able to get your order in because it is backed up processing, but you would see it.

If any product at all has been released, it likely has been a very small amount. This seems similar to the Topps Chrome update release last fall. I would get the email that it was back in stock and by the time I got to the website, it would be sold out, and there was no limit on how many you could buy at a time. Finally after a few days, got the in stock email and was able to order a few times. A few days later, they were available for quite some time on the website before they sold out again.

Possibly patience will net you some, depending on the qty released on the website. you are one of thousands probably clicking and refreshing considering what is happening with the hobby.

but stop the continuous complaining about bots... they are a fact of life and you can develop one if you have the capability, or go out and buy the technology. you will find out though that they really only give you a slight advantage over the average human sitting and refreshing with a high speed connection. And why should Target care what technology you use to buy from them. They are in the business of making money off of selling products. They already limited orders to 5 at a time so more people could get in.

You have to understand that bots take just about 0 seconds to see the product go live and complete the transaction. It doesn't matter how many transactions are necessary unless it is some huge amount. 200 x nearly 0 seconds is still nearly 0 seconds.

one bot can run 50+ Tasks of 5 per order. that 250 boxes in a matter of seconds from one person. nice try tho.

Bots can be stopped if a retailer cares enough to stop them. Saw it with the Funko game, their website was getting wrecked by bots everytime there was a new release. They have since take numerous measures to stop bots including website upgrade, large captchas, purchase limits, and canceling of orders. So it can be done.

Does a corporation like Target care though when the product is being sold? No most likely not...to the store I will go

Yeah, I would think we may start seeing these by next week.
But with no normal anymore I guess we can't rely on what's happened in the past.

I think it will be the 10th a Wednesday or Thursday seems to be the typical big shipment from excel to target. That was the last bowman and mosaic restock was.

Yeah I'm going to check next week. I'm not getting my hopes up on finding anything though. Don't find much of anything around me in the wild anymore. But, kind of enjoying buying all these P2020 singles from the comfort of my own home.

Found some at Walmart could care less.....still bought it even though the ikoria collectors boosters cost $174.....terrible coalition....cool looking....sos garbage no good cards only gas from subway like usual.....basketball better is this year in baseball any good?
