Default 1997-98 Skybox E-X2001 Parallel pickups in the shop today..

I was unable to attain one of them, but I did get the other five. Great looking cards. They were in the old snap tight protectors...really cool.

Oh my goodness. What shop?

Very cool that they have this kind of rare inventory.

These were brought in to my shop, from a customer. I am always amazed at what walks through the front door some days...def best thing about owning a card shop.

Incredible cards and nice photography! Definitely make the deal for the Barkley.

ETA: I remember those old snap tight card holders. I remember as a kid thinking they were so awesome (no more dealing with screws!). The progenitor to the modern day one touch!

Unreal that those just wandered in...if the Mitch Richmond I need (can never remember if it's now or future, but I have the /60 and need the /21) was in this thread I would've lost my mind lol.

One up on ebay for 8000. I'm sure a fraction of that, but you're going to be paying 4 figs for sure.

Great pickups op! That Barkley will definitely cost you, heck even the worst rookies like Johnny Taylor are probably $200 minimum. Not to mention how a few of these are #ed in the 20s, these are big $ cards.

My guess is 1-2K, but I could be way off. A 98 essential credential Barkley recently sold for 1.5k, but I could see the 97 being more desirable.

98 and 97 are apples and oranges. Obviously depending on print run of the player. But say a certain player had similar print run both years, id expect double perhaps more .

97-98 Barkley is around $2000-2500 I would think in this market. It might even run up to $3000-3500 at auction.

I think if I owned a shop and was making an offer on it as a business that needs to turn a profit, I would offer $1750 and maybe even pay the $2000 as I believe you could get more than that when you sold it.

Just my 2 cents.

Was able to secure the Barkley today, and he threw in his “doubles boxes” which I found 4 MJs and 7 Kobe’s and a finest base Kobe too.
