How are they avoiding customs?

Panini putting 7500 as a bottom was stupid.. they should have let it go down to zero.. we all know it wouldn't have gotten lower than 5k anyway..

I am glad no one paid their ridiculous prices.

They just flashed back up on the Panini site for a brief moment, enough for me to click on it but not add to the cart.

At $7,500 with no tax or shipping, I am pretty happy with my purchase, but i also am not going to open it. I typically rip until my fingers bleed, but I am in entirely for the flip on this one.

Oh dude, it’s more of an indictment on Panini than anything. I hope you guys all make a killing on it.

I think $7500 for this was overpriced. But maybe that's a mental thing because I was hoping the floor would be considerably less.

Most/all 2019-20 products are more expensive than 2018-19.

So if 2018-19 NT FOTL is $10K on the secondary market...$7500 is a "good deal?"

Would not be surprised if the Panini VIPers like Layton BO Distributors were given access once it reached a certain price point. Regardless its refreshing to see - shows there's a lot more important things going on in the world right now. Although they're still making a tremendous amount @ 7,500 it's still a failure in my eyes given the starting price & the shown floor. This is Panini's Exquisite/The Cup LOL and they can't really brag about it 'selling out'. At least I wouldn't brag about it sitting there at the already outrageous floor price.

Can't wait to see Crayola Court Kings tomorrow!

If they have a website, I could see a couple of random player breaks. It would be be like $28 assuming there's 300 on the checklist. I haven't looked at it though in excel to see.

Well say they ran the break at $8,000 would need to be $266 per team.

Imagine paying $275-$300 a spot and landing
Magic
Suns
Jazz
Kings
Blazers
Cavs
Pacers
Nuggets
Spurs
Raptors
Hawks

Looking at the checklist the odds of getting even your buy in value back are so slim I cant wait to watch this stuff break. It's like watching people play high limit slots on YouTube.

I dont think BO offers abive sell out price. Yet. They may move later but putting it in perspective, the product hit the floor and stayed there for a few minutes. If BO has a bot, which I bet they do. Then they got in in these at the floor. They will wait to see what they can sell them for before they up the ante

Just my opinion

Looks like there's 366 unique names so that would make a random player only 22. Everyone would be buying a scratch off ticket knowing the odds are stacked against them.

I agree. Why would they rush to put out a big offer knowing a lot of the people who buy FOTL can't afford to hold it. For everyone who got in at or close to the floor, congrats. If you can afford to sit on it, it will pay off in the long run. Just DO NOT OPEN

I'm sure were going to see a lot of "Random Numbers" breaks for this with 99 different spots to help lower costs for customers.

Also, interesting that at this point there are only 12 listings on eBay for the boxes. Last year there were around 100 within 5 minutes of sell out. Everyone waiting on the BO offer? or trying to cancel their orders above the floor?

I think BO will throw out a token $7600 offer just to be slightly above the floor. It surely won't be much more than that.

Default The Hawks wouldn't be terrible/The Raptors wouldn't be bad either

Raptors have Finals signatures and Cam Reddish for the Hawks has been selling pretty well, I wouldn't be terribly opposed to getting them everyone else is a wash.

People are going to get killed in group breaks of this. Even if there are 10-11 cards in each box and they are a different team, that is 20 people each break flushing $300 or more. How many breaks will people need to see before they say screw it and don't get in them.

Anyone who thinks Panini pulled the product to save face is dumb. They probably just made tens of thousands of dollars. If it didn't sell out, then who cares? They got enough people to buy them close to that to make oodles of cash. The people who are going to have to save face are those who bought this to bust and get less than $300 in total value which there will be plenty of those.
